Anyone here do this for a hobby? Or know anyone that does?
I found a dead fox yesterday and brought him home on way back from work; was in good condition and so I called a guy I knew who does taxidermy but today it was all maggoty and so nothing to be done. Anyway, I am hoping to decompose the fox (buried it under compost) and have some bones for display on my nature shelf and was wondering if any of you knew how mong it takes to decompose an adult fox (luckily its warm) and what is the procedure to clean the bones... B2 would kill me if I boiled them in his cooking pots.
Any one know these things?
