Hiya all,

I need some advice...

Im a commando atm, and ive beenthinking about this template


Commando - flammer 4
Combat medic - Combat medicine 4 and ranged Speed healing 2
Scout - Exploration 1

do u guys think this would be a good combo? - i figured a commando with flammer 4 and combat med with combat medicine 4 (for good heals - poisons and diseases) and explo 1 (for a bit of terrain negation) might be a deadly combination in terms of PvP

But im worried that ill be gimped - cos i will be master at niether commando or combat med - so im looking for re-assurance !

what do u guys think? honest opinions pls!

I'm not too experienced and haven't tried PvP yet...

However, I've been thinking along the same lines as you, that is specialized weapon training ditching master degree in BH tree in my case.

Looking at the skilltrees it doesn't seem you loose to much by just singleline speccing 1 weapon to level 4 but then I'm not too sure about commando spec but I seem to recollect it's about the same as BH.

Might be different with CM though, my first idea was to go full buff spec doctor but realized I wouldn't be well off without medicine use and foraging from different lines.

Anyways i think it comes down to the proffessions you choose, some might allow you to be succesfull with 1 line and others wont.

Might not be much help but just my 2 cents for what its worth

In the end I'd like a versatile character that can do alot more than shooting a gun though I might not be as efficient doing so as I could be

The classless system is just superb, you can do whatever you like so why not take advantage of it, I think it takes a serious effort to gimp your character in this game

in this game getting as high level as u can aint the goal

because u can do it very easy...imo

just test different things and u will c

u can always surrender those when u wanna

so go for that line, if u dont like it, then change it little by little to different 1

but being master at least in 1 profession is good, because there is big difference

f.ex rifleman is slow shooter before master, but there is nice line sniper where u can db up to 65m, i know loads of peeps that use laser rifle , because its faster than t21, and they use that gun for db in pvp

and as commando if u aint master, be rdy to miss 50% of your shots
