lol ToD must be so frustrated. He had like double Happy's supply and was up 3 bases to 2. But then Happy managed to force it into a draw with just a floating CC and 3 vikings because ToD ran out of air units.

I can't get out of plat! After a monster session I got myself 100 points clear but now I'm just getting matched against masters or former masters players who usually kill me and I've dropped right back down again. The annoying thing is I never get matched against diamond players, just masters or plat players (even gold sometimes).

I know it means nothing but its annoying! I used to get put into diamond even after losing my placement match.

I just realized I complete suck ass at this game and probably should quit it alltogether. Just tons of hours thrown down the drain with nothing to reward, not even fun to play, just continually get worse and worse and lose to terrible players in embarassing manner with zero enjoyment.

You are getting better, you're just getting matched against better people. The game is immensely frustrating but nothing else matches the buzz you get when you win imo!

Sounds exactly like something I think/say when I'm mad right after losing. It's happened so many thousands of times now though that I don't even believe myself when I'm saying it: I always come back. Only reward I ever got was £30 from a showmatch. Doesn't even cover the cost of buying the game. I don't regret it though. I enjoy playing and I think it's actually taught me a bunch of life lessons about working hard and dealing with failure etc lol.

The people who actually improve are the ones who don't give up after raging. I know plenty of people who regularly 'quit' then come back after few months and play for a bit and then get mad and quit again. They never really stop but they don't have the dedication to stick at it so they never get better either.

Everyone has stupid losses. You can see pro players lose to stupid cheese from mediocre players on stream sometimes. I lost a game yesterday because I didn't make any banelings. I just attack moved all my muta ling into marines for no reason and left the game. I'm still better than 99% of SC2 players in the world though! (not sure if that's motivational or depressing)

Can anyone recommend a cheap mechanical keyboard for sc2? I'm still using an old logitech K200 I stole from work years ago and some of the keys are starting to play up!

I do not recommend the razer blackwidow I have. It's already starting to get very buggy and the macro buttons are lame. It was quite expensive also. I'm looking at the WASDkeyboards where you can customize it as you want, also heard that the CMStorm ones are decent too, but what the price ranges are I don't know.

Quit the league and started fresh today, went pretty well. I need to calm down, focus on improving and rage less. Goals for this season: get back into dia, get tvp above 40% and end in top 8
