Everybody is free to play however they choose as long as within the rules, and choosing not to attack a member of an opposing realm is not violating any rules regardless of what you might think of the matter

yes, im 100% sure ofc, I wouldnt defend someone unless I knew he's different than he used to be in the past, im usually a very slow forgiver and quite stubborn too, borderline to sillyness sometimes too but nevermind that.

Its not just once or twice tuthmes, its 10+ times ive seen dwera on chanter when we been engaged and he dont add, and infact, he never added on us for ages while we ran GG with AD. Not a single time.

When I play NS ive only had solofights vs dwera for the last.. say.. two years or so. Cant even remember if he even added on me once, ever. Perhaps in OF but thats ages ago and I firmly believe people can change over time.

Im quite sure he did add on some people and still do, I do the same aswell and the reason I do it is 99% revenge or just a player I totally disrespect because of how they play, wouldnt be surprised if Dwera does exact same thing, if you have an issue about adding etc, just drop a PM to him and solve it in a peaceful manner without prestige involved and I bet you wont have a problem with it in the future. I would do that if it was someone I had some silly vendetta with, its better both for me and for the other soloer in question aswell and would increase the chanses of better fights in the future which is what it all is about for me at least.

Enough about it, some people have their view and wont change it, nomatter what, just wanted to say my opinion in the matter really since I think its unfair to not give a second chanse to people who do try to improve and prove others wrong.

well thats the thing mate, its not just vs me Ive seen him behave well, ive seen it in lots of stealtherfights and also when visibles has been around. Its just weird I guess. Shame you two couldnt solve it in a good way aswell :/

I don't add if it's a 1vs1, if it's a 8vs8 or so,
but,
if it's 1fg vs 2fg+ I WILL add, no matter if the 1fg can take it or not. Why? The game does simply has a too small playerbase, for me to just let high rr/strong groups kill everything on sight alone. Explanation: If it's a 1vs1 or 8vs8 it's fair enough, as it's then for the competition they do it. If it's 8vs16 or more, then it has become for the rp's and we all need rp's.

and yes, I know sometimes the group that has 2fg+ on them, has just been so unlucky to get an adding group, but hey! Then I think you wouldn't mind me taking the 2nd group, would you

adding is the ultimate reason daoc doesnt quite hit the high peaks of mmrpg heaven.

they got nice funny classes and races, an ultra intelligent combat system and like nice skills and items and the way you do your characters with templates and cool items with great abilities and all that...

its all really good.

what suxs is that although the backbone ideas behind the game are great when you go out there with your toon (which you love and have put a lot into) and a massive preportion of your RVR encounters are you getting batted by multiple opponents. And it doesnt change, you buff up you go RVR, you get raped. U buff up go RVR get raped again, and again and again and again and again etc. eventually you give up. you loggin next day and same thing happens. U get less motivated to loggin and slowly forget about the game. Very occasionally you get moments though where you get some nice 1v1 fights and you get good runs where you dont get adds and the game can be awsome blast (win loose or whatever)

You cant really blaim the players, I think generally a lot of daoc players realise adding is just boring and pointless. Its the game itself. They need more intelligence behind the chance of getting adds and such. I have talked about it before. Things like all having equal speed and an honor system that actually has a negative aspect on your toon if you play like a moron, penalties for doorstepping bonus for hunting.

instead of any real intelligence with the patches that come from mythic they just seem to bolt more crap on the side of the game and come up with stupid ideas (hello 3rd ml line), when theres a few things they could do that would really address the major downsides of the game and increase the longevity of it all. thats mainly why im worried about warhammer, it could well be more of the same as daoc, eg 90% of your online pvp time is pointless.

I assume you have changed your play style since I last played this game then? running around with your pals in OF HW ganking people

The game does have its faults like you mentioned however you cant pick and choose when you want the game to be played the way you currently enjoy it.
