Adding is really lame, extra lame if someone asks you not to and you still do. It's at that point I would pull off and let my oponent kill the adder and yes I have done that on several occations.

The problem however is they usually ask it in a way similar to the following:
STOP ADDING FFS YOU FCKING NOOB!!
which to me is a free invitation to add whenever on sight. I have yet to see an "elitist" that asks me not to join in their fight in a normal and polite way...

Edit: Just breifly - accusing people of being X-realmers for having a different play style = flaming (well actually it an accusation of cheating) which could be offencive for some people.

Personally it would suit a lot of the people better to just chill out more maybe go out and get some sex or smgt. Including the thread starter.

Hey, some people add, some don't, there's no need to make a thread about it. What's the use of getting a nerval brakedown cause of adds. Stuff happens, the world will go on =)

The same thing applies to both parties, the ones who like help and the ones who hate adds. If it happens, suck it up =)

Used to be a thing that used to go around that if you solo'd and ignored fg fights then you wouldnt either get steamrolled by the grps you ignored when in fg v fg or your fights wouldn't get added on by them, I used to ignore fg v fg fights when i ran with my chanter solo, did i ever get this treatment happen to me? no, i would still get steam rolled by the FG's whos fights i didnt add on, or those FG's in my own realm whos fights i didnt add on, would then add on mine and claim i was stealing?

Personally I have no problem with how anyone wants to play. I've certainly done a bit of everything in regards to zerg/fg/solo or whatever, though I don't particularly enjoy 'mindless' zerging...

What pisses alot of people off is when others try to tell them how to play, which is exactly what Ilaya is whining about here, and is also exactly what he is doing at the same time.

But the game has evolved from being just keep take/zerging or whatever you wana call it. There is a group of players who enjoy equal number fights, 1vs1, 8vs8 etc, and you can't go telling them to fuck off just because you don't like how they play, whether mythic 'designed' it that way or not. The same goes for the other way round, people can't tell those who like zerging to fuck off either. But this discussion is old and dicrepid, and has been beaten to death with the stick of oldness for centuries now, and there was really no need to make this stupid thread

If people get so wound up like this over a game, I think they need to step outside and take a break

P.S. next time I see you fighting Ilaya, i'll be sure to watch you die

here.. if i see any fight with hbs . albs/mids.. i'll add ok, saying dont add doesnt work on me, i got earplugs arti. only way u can bypass that is to pay my subs. i'll play how i want and i'll add on anything i see. tough shit. i aint breaking rules there, arranged fights however.. do break rules.
