Well ofc they deny it.

I'm not saying it is them, but if it were i'd do the same as this has more then likely turned way WAY bigger then anyone expected, even the hackers that did it.

And i'm also fairly confident that this group (and any other high profile hacker group) is up for a world of hurt soon as FBI and whatever will try to make absolutely sure they are not involved, so they will get hunted with a vengeance.

Here's a thought, while it may not be "officially" sanctioned by Anonymous, it may very well be a few "rogue" people within that group that have done it. Which in their case is just as bad.

One thing i'm absolutely certain of tho. Whoever did this will get busted, this is to big for them to just try to find a scape goat to blame.

I mean, they are probably losing tons and tons and tons of customers to Xbox and Wii over this, and why take down SOE as well then if that's the case? We already pay monthly to play online with those games so taking that down is pointless.

Besides, the evidence that they have been hacked is quite staggering if you know which forums and IRC channels to visit...

They have been hacked, no question about it, and they also at least as of yesterday morning still have some sort of access to the servers.

That is what I've been hearing from all my friends who are on PSN. Never using a card with them again. Top-ups or vouchers only from now on.

I suppose the irony is that Sony will probably put in the highest possible security they can can come up with after this, they would be fools not to; but once you loose the trust of your customers, its not an easy job to get it back.

Thirty days PSN+ access seems like pretty poor compensation tbh. I suspect it will have a huge affect on younger subscribers who rely on their parents to pay too.

So at least for a while there won't be any profit hacking done as there's no money to get from it.
