Lolprices.

But fanbois bought them. Even during the ongoing crypto shitness. So companies would be mad not to stick 'em up at these inflated prices.

Over to you, AMD.
They'll undercut. But Nvidia have priced in a high ceiling - so AMD will still massively inflate their prices.

The market is set by what idiots will pay. And despite there hardly being any games that push graphics cards nowadays people still want 250 fps when 120 will do just fine ;)

In essence for the price of a 4080 you can pretty much buy three main consoles.

How are the laptop versions of the cards?

Seem to be laptop deals floating around for 30xx machines that would cost 2x to build equivalent desktop

Well as usual no doubt they'll be more powerful than the previous, even with the power limitations of Laptops.

Very good, the 3060 is the sweetspot.

As usual, wait for benchmarks (which were mysteriously absent in the presentation, apart from to say up to 1.7x the performance of the 6950 XT in raster and up to 1.6x in ray tracing) but the pricing is surely going to make Nvidia sweat. The raster performance of the 7900 XTX is supposedly (according to leaks only, atm) on a par with the 4090 and it's $600 cheaper.

They won't be as fast as Nvidia's offerings, as per normal, but will be priced more reasonably.

Dunno but I went laptop last gen because I could get a decent 3070 laptop for about the price of a 3070 card.

The madness.
