Im looking for games like Baldurs Gate, with quests, classes, and most of all elves.

Did try it. Took a full 30 minutes to get bored and uninstall it. If you like oldfashined isometric kinda rpg's with predictable quests it might be something for you. Graphics were "oldschool" (looked crap to me).

... and if you ever get the idea to try out Everquest : EU version (i'm currently betatesting it)... stay away.. i betatested it for 1 hr.. and then i un-installed it.

daoc is the only way.

All good games although gothic might a be bitch to get hold of but well worth it if you can ... Neverwinter NIghts a good play to and dungeoun siege for your "diablo 2" style play

I love Baldurs Gate, and hoped NWN would be just 50% the fun as bg2... but .. nop :/

Have to agree with exc_hib_boo, Divine Divinity sucks big time. I didn't even last 30 mins, got bored with the game after 5.

I bought it thinking it would be a bit like Diablo, but with better graphics and quests et al. I have to say, even Diablo 2 (which I didn't enjoy too much) rated much higher than DD.

NWN might not be a fair sequel to Baldur's Gate but its still a great game imo

Dragon empires looks very good to me, no merchants 100% player economy. guilds control cities and stuff. many different ways of playing it too like being a merchant, outlaw, bounty hunter etc. webby can explain it a lot better than i can

NWN is ... a bad bad bad try to mix hack'n'slash and roleplaying.

They never made that game to try and mix that

its fair alot of ppl hate NWN but for hardcore D&D AD&D AD&D2nd ed and AD&D3rd ed fans its AWESOME

alot of ppl whine its to easy to cheat in ............ listen to the class of the game plese~~~ RPG Role Playing game, ur taking a role, if that role is a cheater then so be it

and yes before u ask im BIG fan of D&D series been playing for nearly 10years and ill keep playing, i LOVE NWN!!

But for all those who havent tried its not for D&D lovers only, take sub (gimped hamster guy from emain) he have never played any pen&paper rpg and he loved singleplayer NWN and considered quitting daoc for it, but then found out it isent an MMORPG ( not sure thats 100% true long time ago ) so its a game for all

If youre a BG fan you should try Planescape: Torment. Not a very known game but by far the best of its type imo.

Icewind Dale 2, Baldurs Gate2 (and Throne of Bhaal expansion), Planescape: Torment... probably the best games atm..
