The "irrelevant" part was a nod to your recent remark about BDs, I am well aware you are not in fact irrelevant (nor is any player in the game, especially in light of the current low population). I've seen many of the things you talk about, even when you played your Hero in the IG(?) groups, or when you ran off solo with the relic in Midgard and lost it, and there have been some good times indeed.

However, things seem to have changed a lot since then (for us all, no doubt). These days, all I see is you posting new threads or posts filled with whine that essentially boil down to making people play according to your own rules. It makes for an unfriendly atmosphere, and I personally don't like it.

I generally only complain about the things that sux about the game.

This guy sopan never used to add on me at all. And I never used to add on him. So like he must have respected me in some way shape or form, or summin there must have been some reason he let me be, when he used to steamroll other people over.

then all of a sudden I get a spate of adds from him (and I always give people the benefit of the doubt a couple of times under the law of "shit happens" out there, but when its like > 5 times I think ok thats how it is then). And when you start returning the favour to this player he suddenly gets the arse and calls you an adder and explains how its fine to add on you as erm Im a zerger or whatever random insult. In total ignorence of the fact that it was him who initiated the in game lameness type thing.

Basically this lemon wont conceed that he is reknowned for headless chicken adding and just put his hands up and say ok fair play censi, I added on you so I understand why you add on me. Its just like "YOU SUX U ADD ON ME HYPOCRITE!!".

Pip did exactly the same thing in his post complaining about me adding on his WL (more ironic becuase I was grouped with galid and pup and we just treble teamed him). And like come on I dont have to go around telling people how this guy plays out there do I?

The underlying thing these people have in common are they are like the known "lamers" of the server. But when people fuck them over they think the person doing it is a hypocrite and generally out of order.

There is (or used to be) two Savage Conclave groups. The remnants of my group is now what we call the Summer Group, and we have never knowingly added on any group, in recent memory or in the past. The other group has much less qualms about their rules of engagement. We don't criticize them for their playstyle, but we stick to our ways.

Most other groups out there seem to recognize this fact and treat us respectfully in turn.

when I said I used to add in the old days im talking about like the days when there was no add word about 3-4 years ago. It was just like the done thing. No one stopped and watched opponents fight. If u didnt play "back in the day" you will no idea what im talking about. No one knew jack shit about the game, like just using your bow to shoot an arrow into an opponent was cool and exciting. Seeing like enemy classes and stuff for the first time etc..

The concept of not addin is something thats evolved from playings having respect for each other, to where we are now where a lot of players sit in channels and chat with each other and stuff.

Get a grip bracken. once again its all the known "lamers" slinging shit around.

Differance is I don't complain about it, I just accept it. As for the PUG groups, I can't do a damn thing about it if my group wants to kill everything, the person thats normally group leader and GM nukes everything. I just stay stuck and watch, but I wont normally attack the soloer myself I just let the group get on with it and do a /cry if its someone I liked.
Only time I will join in is if its somebody I don't like.

I just think its a bit rich to complain about adds when you yourself stealth zerged some of those adders. Is it any wonder they might want pay back? If I see someone thats zerged me when solo in a fight i'll go out of my way to add on them, even if it means dieing for it.

Which is why I say, you cannot play 100% perfect all of the time. We all have off days where we just don't care anymore cause somethings pissed us off. Its how you try to play in the long run that counts.

Why was that introduced? It is very important to see how these semantics emerge. I think if we stood back for a bit and looked closely at how such terms can become derogatory then we might understand each other a little better? Just a thought.

I agree with you about respecting people from other realms etc. but what difference does it make if someone is a nice guy IRL? I only see the actions of people ingame and their behaivour here on FH, so that´s the deciding factors for my evaluation of people. I don´t care whether they´re nice guys or jerks IRL, because I´ll probably never meet them IRL. At the moment, the term "being nice IRL" has a tendency of being abused as some form of double-standard excuse for dodgy actions, something along: "tehehe, yeah, he´s a prick, but that´s ok because I know him".

Just turn it around... imagine someone´s a Saint ingame, good player, always helpful, always polite on FH. Now someone says "yeah but he´s a jerk IRL". Would that change your views of that person? And if not, then why should a "nice IRL" do?

You may have solo'd alot, but you've also happily ganked soloers when playing with 2 or 3 friends. Now't wrong with that - but it takes a special kind of tit to do that and then claim some kind of moral high ground.
