I'll see if I can help, though I'm not among the BarryBeer elite.

1. Is barrysbeer for over 18’s only? Can I drive after drinking barrysbeer?
The general view is that as we're going to a pub, BarryBeer is over 18s only. Whether that rule is strictly enforced I don't know, but I doubt it.
Drinking and driving is never a good idea, kids! Nor is warez and homophibia. Or communism.

2. Can I use credits from barrysbank to purchase barrysbeer?
Ahaha! You cheeky little tike! Away with you!

3. Do we have to wear the silly caps that most people seem to wear? I can’t see many #quake2.uk regulars being willing to make themselves look that stupid.
Silly caps was a one-off, I'm told. Try to dress sports-casual.

4. I notice from the pictures that there seems to be no females, is this intentional? Or can we bring partners?
Woman are certainly allowed, and indeed encouraged.

5. Will ^Barry^ be attending?
Yes!

"Try to dress sports-casual"

Can anyone lend me a set of string backed leather driving goods, for the look that says I'm in control of my vehicle?

personally I'm going to see (and preferably talk to/drink beer with) as many BW people as I can. I like clubs and loud music as much as the next man, but not when I'm trying to have a conversation with someone.
Is there no nice airy place that combines food and drink and space and music in such a way that all can enjoy themselves? The way you lot debate my impression of London as an nightlife/entertainment hotspot degrades rapidly :/

Time to make some decisions, some folk need to make arrangements.

Sat 13th is the clear winner so lets go with that.

Steiny, thanks for the venue suggestion, thats great, lets go there. I found a site with a piccy and some info here: http://www.pubs.com/albion1.htm

If there are no objections I'll write up a proper how to get there post later.

a) The Devereux is shite (the blonde barmaid is a redeeming feature, however there are far better places to go for tottie)

b) While I like the Chandos (the pub that TTD is talking about, sam smiths etc) It is old, dull.

c) I'm unlikely to come if its going to be shite.

So here's an alternative.

The 'smithfield' pubcrawl. Farringdon station for the lamers that dont know.
It also has the added advantage of Fabric/Turnmills in the middle of the pubcrawl.

Farringdon on a Friday night?

Sounds like the perfect excuse to try and drag some forumites to fabric, maybe.

If you want to go on a late night crawl, or to Fabric, the Albion is an excellent place to start, as it is all within walking distance. So just stick to the plan, soldier!

So, um... what's this 'Fabric' then? Some of us are staying at DBs' so it really depends on what he wants to do.

Come down anyway, Wazzlet. :)

Fabric is a cool nightclub somewhere in London. Last time I was "directed" there by walking the streets of London for fucking hours.

It plays house/trance music in one of the rooms. Very dark, good fit birds, plenty of drinks. Quality night out.

I'd not mind going to this "fabric" thingy. Still, as Summo says, as I'm crashing at DBs' place I abide by his wishes.

he says: "awwrite lads les go tear up dis faptick place" then I go
he says: "awwrite lads les go see if we can make my subwoofer fall into it's own black hole and sink through the floor at my place while we have a few more drinks before bed" then I don't go.

and dat, mah homez, is where it's at.
