• Drivers that think queues are not meant for them and push in. Starting to get a bit militant about it and block them coming in.
• Drivers that block a lane by stopping and waiting for someone to appear from a shop to server them at their car window
• School buses that try to use the U-turns where I live and end up doing 8 point turns and blocking the u-turn for ages. Big F'ing sign that says not lorries, that means you too bus!!
• Drivers that leave it until the last possible metre to move into the lane they actually need to be in
• Drivers that queue in left lane at lights knowing that they are actually taking the first right in 50 metres

Basically a shit load of issues with drivers here because they are all snowflakes that believe they can do whatever they want, when they want and without consideration for anything around them.

So, a couple of weeks back my son spilt a drink on his Macbook Pro laptop, causing the keyboard to not work right. Did the usual to try and fix it, put in a bag of rice overnight. Still did not work right. half the KB not responding well. Took it to Mac Repair Centre, they had to replace the Mobo and Chasis! 4300 AED (£906) repair bill!!!

Added to that his iPhone was playing up, usual battery life problem. Due to 2 scratches on the case which they deemed as "extensive customer induced damage" they refused to replace the battery, instead asking for 1500 AED to replace the phone. I basically told them to F'off and promptly took it to an unlicensed repair center who replaced the battery for 150 AED and also confirmed that only the batter was an issue.

Fuck Apple and fuck buying anything from the every again! I refuse to buy any of their shit ever again. They completely rip the customer off and their repair policy is quite unbelievable and their attitude is shit, at least here it is.

They charge ridiculous prices for their products and make them deliberately difficult and unintuitive to repair without taking it back to them so they can bend you over again. It's been that way for years.

You should never buy a product that is awkward to repair by design or that contains built in or forced (via software updates) obsolescence.

You have to scrub your teeth first, and then the bleach burns my gums. And yes the saliva is unbelievable isn't it?

I have the same issue atm moment with a front chipped tooth ( i bit my fork and took a chunk off it) they want me to bleach them so they can colour match the repair

No it was totally genuine, a really pissed off rant and will refuse to buy any of their shit again. The laptop and iPhone were both my sons, basically Christmas (laptop) and birthday presents. The Mac was needed because of his music tech course and the software they dictate is only available on MAC, which also pissed me off. Think I posted that at the time but cba to look it up.

Biggest issue I have with Apple currently is this fad they've started where laptop manufacturers think it is acceptable to remove most of the useful ports from their product. We've got an XPS 2 in 1 on eval at the moment for our new works laptops, and Dell have decided all we need are two USB-C ports, and thats it. No HDMI, no proper USB (so we can use all our peripherals - even basic stuff like presentation clickers) - all done through USB-C adapters.

So now a) we have more stuff to forget to take along with us b) You now get to carry an ultra-light laptop, and a suitcase full of the bloody adapters you need.

Think I might see if I can keep my Latitude. Apart from the titchy 128Gb SSD, it looks 100x more useful than this XPS we're looking at.

I've ridden crotch rockets (..) back seat a few times and never managed to trust the person driving, ever. Mainly due to 1) Several people (friends of friends) have died due to overestimating one's control of the bike. 2). I would overestimate myself eventually.

There's also good looking hybrids, my German cousin has one. Fun driving (no MC card, just had a run on their street)

Don't bother with microshite and their wank site, seems this is one of the most common slowdowns for this boloks of an OS, superfetch, which is designed to speed up your PC and all it ever does it slow it down, multiple help sites say disable it, in fact they say everyone should disable it.
