Apple ripping people off? What is the totally new phenomenon?!
They charge ridiculous prices for their products and make them deliberately difficult and unintuitive to repair without taking it back to them so they can bend you over again. It's been that way for years.
Tell them to get lost why should they predicate some restoration on bleaching.Chipped a front tooth so need some work. Dentist wants me to bleach my teeth first. Am literally gagging on two gumshields and bleach. I'll never make it without throwing up. I can't even last when they x ray at the dentist.

Those trays are horrible. It's the saliva / bleach combo that gives me the heave.
Dont bite metal its not nommy. Silly boiYou have to scrub your teeth first, and then the bleach burns my gums. And yes the saliva is unbelievable isn't it?
I have the same issue atm moment with a front chipped tooth ( i bit my fork and took a chunk off it) they want me to bleach them so they can colour match the repair
That's because his post is a disingenuous humble-brag.
Biggest issue I have with Apple currently is this fad they've started where laptop manufacturers think it is acceptable to remove most of the useful ports from their product. We've got an XPS 2 in 1 on eval at the moment for our new works laptops, and Dell have decided all we need are two USB-C ports, and thats it. No HDMI, no proper USB (so we can use all our peripherals - even basic stuff like presentation clickers) - all done through USB-C adapters.
So now a) we have more stuff to forget to take along with us b) You now get to carry an ultra-light laptop, and a suitcase full of the bloody adapters you need.
Think I might see if I can keep my Latitude. Apart from the titchy 128Gb SSD, it looks 100x more useful than this XPS we're looking at.
You can always just bung in a new SSD, job done.
A colleague of mine has just bought a Harley soft tail. I know nothing about bikes and have never ridden one, but now I want a Harley.
I also want to go cycling on the Faroe Islands, which look spectacular:

My mates just dropped an immaculate one of these in my garage for storage...but no key..miserable git.

Well you've got the hair for it. But ew, no don't, there are so many more bikes that aren't actually shit out there. This is the way to do retro right:

I can totally see myself riding one of those. I'm not into crotch rockets, just a cool-looking slightly fast machine would do me for cruising around Cheshire and the Peaks. Maybe some time in the future...
Hub had his e mail account hacked yesterday so an awful lot of people got an e mail asking to send him money!! Nightmare.
