What the fuck is going on with Win 10 at the moment? I'm constantly getting "outlook settings out of date" messages.

Never have any problems with either here :\

Use thunderbird as my mail client to talk to hotmail. One drive just sits there being my offsite backup solution. Job jobbed.

It wants you to use outlook and one drive!

I use Outlook, and OneDrive. Since Win10 makes you login anyway I saw no harm in using it, and I've had an outlook.com email address since they first came out (I have a common name so I always jump onto new mail products early to get the name I want). Its been working fine since I upgraded to Win10, but all of sudden its gone flaky as fuck.

There was a problem the other night with hotmail. May have been with onedrive too. First time it was at Microsoft's end for a loooooong time. Maybe something to do with that?

I have a problem with 365 outlook.

I have multiple school related accounts, and I log into them one by one, however, one had some silly second wall of security log in system now every time I click on all the other email addresses it links me into that second window, super annoying. Dunno how to stop it, I even deleted the account and it still did it.

Only issue I'm having with Win 10 at the moment are the pop ups suggesting I try Edge whenever I start Firefox.

On the other hand, after 2 years of metronomic reliability and requiring very little money spent on it - now I'm saving for a wedding the BMW has started getting needy. Spent £200 on the battery last week, now just found out it needs discs and pads all round whilst having a wheel wobble diagnosed (ATS did a shocking job of fitting tyres and didnt even balance the rears properly). All wear and tear so not too annoyed, but christ, its timing is impeccable :(

Seven hundred bastard quid. *grumble*

To be fair, when I bought it the computer said I had 6000 miles left on the brakes, and that was 45000 miles ago, so think it's done OK :)

When you look at the clock and wonder where the 2 hours since you got back from pub went, proper puzzled like because there is no way 2 hours have passed. But then remember every clock you own just jumped an hour and you had forgotten the clocks change.

Rain in Dubai that brings the place to a standstill. Roads with no runoff so water builds up making them dangerous. Thanks the gods I still have a 4x4 :). Idiots that drive at 10 mph with hazards on becoz its raining. Bigger idiots that still drive like they are on an F1 track in the same conditions.

Staying at home tomorrow. Too many idiots about, had 4 near misses on the way home tonight, in 15 minutes!

LinkedIn corporate e-peen boasting. Everyone from the same firm circle jerking each other's updates with likes.

"uhh look what I have achieved!"
"is your business shit? Let my business help you!"
"look at this incredible niche product literally no one can use or even knows what is for, that my company has developed!"
"I have skills in all of these fields, please endorse me, even though you have no idea whether it is true or not. I'll return the favour, np bro!"

Hard to tell whether Facebook or LinkedIn is more cringe worthy these days...

Some people use it exactly like they do with Facebook. It's not what it it was designed for but people do what people do.

To be fair, a LOT of people complain about it as well. You also have to take a view on who you accept as connections; I bin the ones who start posting cat pictures pdq.

In reality LinkedIn is useful, and if you're in the job market (looking or recruiting) its pretty much the only game in town these days.

Got a full screen popup today with all the usual microsoft warning, virus, corrupt, call this number.
You can't press ESC to minimise it, just keeps popping back up...
Then a frickin siren wails out the speakers and a voice starts..' your personal information is being sent
to Russian servers, call this number immediately, your intimate images on drive C are being shared
on the internet!'

I was only on XVideos

You really need to have several programs that stops popups, certain cookies, and something to monitor websites etc when porn surfing.
