This is utterly frustrating. It's almost impossible in the modern world not to be in touch with someone. I'd have more respect if they said "I got your message, but I ignored it because I couldn't be arsed".

So true, my dad was saying the exact same thing happened in the exact same bar in Marseille and le poe poe aren't learning their lesson.

Apparently there were (in the WC) thousands of England fans down the harbour causing no trouble at all, in fact my Dad was telling me that he got stuck in a bar with about 100 other England fans cowering behind the Police because there were thousands of French fa- trouble causers outside hurling all kinds of stuff at them.

I don't understand why they don't just segregate areas for particular nations, IE France & England since they bring the most fans and are guaranteed to have trouble makers among them - they do it for league football.

On a brighter note, a mate of mine in Marseille posted a picture of himself with a bunch of Germans with a caption 'Atleast the Germans are nice'
