They aren't :)
They used to be in the UK it may have changed but I got destroyed with a £60+ import charge because the sender did not specify postage to DHL picked the most expensive shipping that they offered (Next day air mail pre 9 or something) and then hit me for the VAT on that. Which was 3 times the value of the item let alone postage which was free hence not being on the invoice. I refused the package and Spoke to CAB who said as DHL pre pay the tax to get it through Customs quicker they were allowed to do this. So I just lost out on the item as DHL would not send it back due to being owned money. This was a few years ago now though. PS3 days.

tbh I've suspected for some time now that the "office software" vendors all have major shares in the storage vendors given how they never fail to turn what really is a few kb of -these days- XML into truely massive files :/

Apps that switch push notifications back on after an update. Can't be that difficult to read the previous settings.

My nexus 7 is dying. Screen rotate broken and usb port knackered. Full of herpes.

Just ordered an Asus 8 Zenpad 64GB.

2K screen
Usb slot upto 128GB
8 camera
Fast processor

Be nice to have a tablet that I don't need to reboot 3 times for the auto rotate to maybe work

Going to be one of those days. Builders van just stops in the middle of the road, doesnt bother pulling over, sits there for 10 minutes.

Then 5 minutes later a cyclist just cuts in front of me from the other side of the road, me doing 40, brakes slammed on, stop about a foot from him. Gamers reactions saved the idiots life. Nothing but a blank look from him. Cunt

Forgot to turn on ad-block software after GF turned it off to watch Paradise Hotel. Check out this genious ad-placement that popped up while browsing a news-site.

I have been asked to look after a project in work s the guy that was managing it is off long term sick. I went to see the developers who everyone else is waiting for and they were playing CS:Go and browsing Social Media. When I asked why they were not working on the project they said it was two weeks work and the deadline is six weeks away so there is no hurry. The customer deadline is six weeks away and everyone else needs to do their part. So I have change the deadline for the Developers to be two weeks and 3 of the fuckers have just tried to book next week off :)

Developers. Plumbers with worse personal hygiene.

I've always prided myself on having a good understanding of techies and the issues they face, and being a good broker between tech and commercial. But boy are they testing my fucking patience at the moment. I'm about five minutes from beating several of them to death with an amusing geek office toy.

The fixed player prices in FIFA 16 FUT. How am I supposed to sell my players if I can't be diverse on the market?

yeah, the changes they made just before FIFA16 was released have killed off the market to some extent

I got a player which is allegedly worth 35k coins, but I have no use for him. Trying to sell is impossible since there are hundreds of the same player for the same price on the market. Has EA never dealt with simple and basic economics before?

All EA care about is killing coin traders so everyone has to spend a fortune to Fifa Points to try and get the player they want.

All EA care about is rinsing as much money out of the schmuks that buy their games as they can.

A guy from work spent £50 on packs at release, absolutely baffling. I wouldn't dare spend a penny over the cost of the game.

Sent the wife's Samsung phone off to the repair shop. They just phoned me up saying that they won't repair it for free, which they should since it is not two years old yet, because it is bent. They sent me a photo of the so called bend:

image.jpeg

This is taken by an authorised Samsung technician. He put in the red line too

Wtf? Am I in the wrong if I demand it fixed at their expense? Otherwise it is a £370 repair, which will not happen

Ordered a chair and some other shit from Viking.

Chair didn't come with the rest.

I assumed that it was involved with the whole 'Oh, it'll come later because it's not from the normal depot' thing.

But apparently not.

So I messaged them saying 'I kinda haven't received my chair, I got the rest'

The responded with 'We sent you it'

Fuck you.

Ask them for a copy of the signed delivery note. Then tell them to just send the chair.

Yeah, that's the fun part, I did sign for it, but it was a huge box, so I assumed that the chair was in it, or that they'd give the chair at a later date, since that's what they said they do on their website.

Never sign for stuff you havent checked. If you cant check sign and write unchecked on it.

If you can't check it fair enough but you'd think you'd be able to look at a box and, knowing how big stuff is, see that you're missing a fucking chair. Poor effort, @Gwadien.

I have done a lot worse. I once signed for 8 pallets of monitors let the guy leave then counted there were only 7. Each Pallet had 24 £500 Lenovo monitors on it so I had lost £12k worth of Stock. The delivery company said the van was empty and I had taken 8 as I signed for 8. Warehouse manager saved my arse, the loading dock camera showed the guy unload 7 and leave with 1 still in the back of the van. He came back with his tail between his legs a few hours later.
