My wallet is 10 years old, still works. Made out of leather, has slots for cards and paper money. Although I pretty much only use cards these days.

Any ye'olde worldy metal money generally goes in the pocket then the money jar.

Metoo. I got a 15 year old YSL wallet from a sale in macies (sp) in san francisco. Works fine for cards a folding. Hard change gets transfered to the wifes purse. Not that i carry currency much any more.

Men put coins in a pocket. Anything else is a purse, which is probably fabulous but...
Not all chaps put coins in their pockets.... You know you dont even have to be fabulous to put them in a coin purse these days ;). 400 eur for a belt is silly @TdC, but 140 eur is normalish :p

Normalish? You are mad it holds your trousers up. Spending more than £10 means you are showing off ;) It is like spending £70 on shoe laces.

At some point I'm hoping @Big G will explain the error of your ways...,

I see so many of you spending silly money on tech / bikes / cars / sunglasses but if we talk about quality leather items, crazy.....

Who uses cash (and coins in particular!) in Sweden today? How old is he, 80?

Haha, Belts and clothes in general do nothing for me so my 2 for £10 belts suit me fine. Trainers are my vice. I have about 40 pairs of trainers that are still in boxes. And I wear £120 Nike Air Max mainly which are no more comfortable than the £35 Merrell trainers I wear when I go outdoors. But for some reason I can justify trainers to myself. I also like Bags and Wallets, I will end up with one of these from the site @TdC posted. And I really want one of these for some reason.

My I pod won't update. I cloud isn't linking up my photos! Our mains switch keeps tripping which makes the fridge freezer alarm beep constantly and we can't switch it off!! It's been beeping for 2 weeks I reckon. New freezer due Friday. I think I have a force field around me that's wrecking everything. there's even a different beep on Sky, live and recorded which other half cannot hear...... And before you ask it's not in time to the freezer!

Ps hubby saw the red moon at 4am and didn't wake me. After all this time he knows me not at all!

I have a brown belt and a black belt. They're both leather. I think they cost 20 euros each, but in my defence I likely spent 100's of euros drinking beer and wine after I bought them :)

I have one belt. It's by D&G but I bought it over 10 years ago so I've had good use out of it and it's still going strong.

... Why oh why are the majority of men's wallets completely impractical ie no coin part...

I put my wallet in my arse pocket. Putting coins in it would deliver discomfort, which is why we have pockets. I like my arse to be comfortable :).

Forget about the Pope causing mayhem, the 70th meeting of the United Nations is happening and my commute is pure hell. Bring back the pope!

My belt is literally a piece of string that I used to use to bend an apple tree branch from vertical to a curve.

I've probably spent £200 on clothes in the past two years. I look like a tramp. But I don't give a fuck because all my money goes on doing stuff and going places rather than looking a certain way. In fact, I resent spending money on clothes.

However, when I'm forced into buying clothes (i.e. when the old ones no longer cover my balls for 90% of the time or 10% of their surface area is no longer existant) I won't buy cheap shit. Quality lasts.

I get mine from Tesco and perhaps wear a Tshirt 5 times out, 5 times for bed then bin it. Couple of pairs of jeans will last me a season then they get binned too.

Could at least donate it to some charity or to people who could make good use of it
