His other half was driving at points in #12 and he was just sitting there calling people cunts (like the van trying to pull out in front of them on the dual carriageway).

To use his own language; what an absolute cunt.

On a different note, would never ever feel comfortable with entering a roundabout to the left (as per driving on the left lane in UK). Did it once at night just to fuck about but even then, felt wrong.

One thing you have to get used to in the UK is that the pedals are swapped over. Accelerator is on the left, clutch on the right. Indicators are on the right side of the wheel too :) And the gears are swapped over, 1 and 2 are on the right of the stick, 4 and 5 the left ;)

In that last video he undertakes 1 car, then attempts to undertake a second. Then calls them both cunts. I think he must have some sort of mental condition.

Fuck that. I've tried to use my right foot that 'normally' is used for the gas pedal, and tried breaking with it; completely worthless. Would take a considerable amount of time to learn. Though, been driving with a friends imported jap car where the steeringwheel is on the right side and the clutch on the left-hand side. You pick up on it faster than expected.

WTF?

That's not true. Accelerator is on the right, break middle, clutch left. In every car I've ever driven - UK, EU, Auzzie, Yank....

1:50 and forward. Thoughts?

That's absolutely mind blowing. Jesus, I did not see that coming. I thought that was going to end with a rant, but when I saw the actual accident I was like:

It's like when two massive cunts collide and create a supernova of cunt. Sure, the caravan driver was a complete cunt but in the beginning he may have made an honest mistake and was trying to get across into the left hand lane (which was full of traffic and almost impossible to move into) for some time so duly waited and indicated. The dashcam driver, as much as the caravan driver was in the wrong, could have avoided the whole situation by just allowing the gap to open up and allow him to move in. But no, one cunt took on another cunt and it ended up in an accident causing misery to both and the hundreds of other drivers on that motorway, all because of fucking ego.

Sure, the caravan driver was ultimately to blame, but they were both cunts ultimately. I don't understand why people get so god damn angry about one single car cutting in front. You'll get to your destination half a second slower. Muppets.

I think you might have just done a toht :p

Really?

I sit in my car, accelerator's on the right, break middle, clutch left.

I've never driven a car with it any different? In fact, yesterday I drop my mate's German Westfalia left hand drive camper van - and the accelerator is on the right, break middle, clutch left.

Honestly? Do they manufacture cars the other way round??!

Anyway - random annoying thing: My bike's seat post is stuck in my frame. Hard.

Been hitting it with WD40 for ages, trying to wiggle it, etc. etc. After 24 hours I've got a little lateral movement but am not really any closer to getting it out :(

Not sure what an insurance assessor would actually say here tbh; they're both wrong in different bits of the Highway Code (Rule 163 - make sure there's a gap for you to overtake into), and Rule 168, pull back to give a driver who is overtaking you, the space to do so. The dashcam guy definitely knew the caravan guy was trying to get in, but the caravan guy shouldn't have been anywhere near an overtaking manoeuvre that close to his exit. Knock for knock probably.

@Tom got me there. Though, it wouldn't suprise me since you guys drive on the left side, have the wheel on the left and use the non-metric system.

Yeah, the guy could have braked and let him in, but after the first collision, when it was obvious he couldn't get in, the guy in the caravan kept going rather than braking himself, and then turned across the driver.

I'd put it 80% in the caravan driver's court. Should have been over half a mile earlier, indicating doesn't mean "give me space now" and then to compound the original sidebump with a cluster fuck is just idiocy (admittedly when he's probably already a bit scared - but to fail to stop when he's out of options, and to choose to ram someone instead, is mind blowing).

Could have been avoided tho yep.

I'd like to align with right hand drive countries personally. Expensive and chaotic, I know.

I uate when people indicate and think that automatically buys thema gap to move into. Changing lanes on the motorway. Im indicating so you need to let me in. Its crap highway code says you should only move across when safe to do so and not to make others brake etc to let you in.

Yep, I hate that.

I also hate cunts who won't open a gap too, however. All they have to do is lift off the accelerator a smidgen, for a few seconds. But the world is full of little englanders who "own" their particular patch of motorway and the idea that they're sharing the road with other users doesn't occur to them.

Also, pulling onto a motorway from a slip road, it takes zero effort for vehicles to move across into the next lane (assuming it's free ofc) to give you space to join.
