Student loans company harassing me every few months and making me fill in the same paper work over and over again. Once again; no I don't have any fucking money.

Around here load companies and debt collectors make money from asking. Think it's 5€/letter or some stupid sh*t like that. Then they bounce the loan between the courts and debt collectors until just that 5€ bill becomes a 2000€ bill due to "expenses etc".

Skinny trousers.

Skinny trousers are fine..they can go die in a fire, but so long as they are "Skinny" ones in a separate section thats fine, but they are now starting to impact "regular" trousers and make them skinnier. I usually wear a 32" waist and don't have issues. Had to go up to a 36" waist in order to have a trouser leg that didn't cut of circulation. I put trousers from a year ago next to the ones i got at the weekend (didn't buy the 36", felt like wearing clown pants) and the legs are noticeably narrower compared to last years version. Took them back, but dammit, now i'm going to have to get tailored trousers.

I agree! Skinny jeans are fucking horrible (and I'm sorry guys but only about 5% of you can pull them off without looking like an absolute douche) and they are everywhere. I see them as something kids wear and that's fine, but no, adult men, not you.

I have a few pairs of Topman jeans that I've had for quite a few years and they are the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. They're getting a bit "holey" so I went on Topman's website to look for more and I was presented with "spray on" jeans. What in the living fuck are spray on jeans?! I'll tell you. These are spray on jeans:

Spoilered because ugh.

So, since visiting this website, not only am I mentally scarred, but it seems like Topman don't sell "jeans" any more. The options are ripped jeans, stretch skinny jeans, slim jeans, spray on jeans or skinny jeans. I just want fucking jeans you bunch of wankers!

I recommend Blue Inc for normal jeans. I've got a few pairs from them and they are all good shape, last ages and comfy.

I'm on the prowl for a new work trousers provider :(

I just get them from Tesco. They don't look shit and cost less than £20.

They don't always last all that long but fuck it.

Ever since hitting the cycling I can't fit jeans like that over my calf muscles and still bend my legs. Not that I particularly want to. But I found it interesting that default skinny's are for skinny people who don't do much in the way of exercise - or the average leg shape'd be different and they'd have to change design slightly.

I got a pair of trousers from ted baker that are a little like that but the different material is more pliable than denim so they're quite comfy and move well. Perhaps we should take the opportunity to ditch denim and buy more interesting trousers? :)

Get Boss jeans. They've got a bit of stretchy stuff in them so they fit fine. I don't mind skinny jeans, but I find the fashion for skinny suits a bit weird, because even if you're actually skinny it still looks like you've bought a suit a size too small.

Both LAX and JFK are toilets. Agree on the above re immigration at JFK, terribly managed, stupid ramp, took nearly two hours. By that point I was starting to feel like I wasn't that bothered about getting into 'murica.
You been to LAX in past 3 montihs? big improvements at the Tom Bradley (Terminal B) which is the main International terminal. the new migration machines save a lot of time got through there in 35 mins last week.

Tommy Bahamas Jeans are also quite stretchy and they do skinny, straight and relaxed fits. Purchased a few pairs in a sale at Nordstrom's and they are really nice.

Some dickhead caught a disease from a camel or something and now my gf wants to cancel our trip to Korea. Except I can't get a refund on my flights or hotel. I could go on my own I guess, but I don't really want to.

I thought that was only affecting people who were already in hospital?

Everything I have read says pretty much the same thing. That the amount of new cases has slowed down, that the affected people are still all contained in the same hospitals and it doesn't seem to be spreading further. They've increased the number of quarantined people, but they've also re-opened loads of schools today.

I think maybe the Japanese media is making it sound worse than it is. I think my gf's mum might be doing the same thing. Whenever I try to tell my gf some of the information I've read from various news sources, her information is always different. The number of affected people is higher, the number of quarantined people is higher and the risk of it spreading is greater. "Only 5 new cases, down from 30 on previous days" becomes "5 new cases as unstoppable disease continues to spread". Also Japanese people don't like Koreans and think they are liars so they think any official stats that the Korean government releases are just trying to cover up the problem.

I'm not particularly worried, so I might go anyway. I only wanted to go to see my gf though, I'd rather have not spent the money at all if I could've avoided it.

Last pair of jeans I bought was some Levi's 503s (I think), regular fit, $35 on sale. They are actually pretty awesome, first pair of Levi's I've owned.

When someone sends you a "Hey this is a really cool clip" and you notice the video length is somewhere between an hour and a week.

We have this technology called the Internet.

On the internet, there's this place called the BBC.

On the BBC there's this place called the BBC iPlayer.

You can watch things on it

I think you'll find it's the antithesis of barry trotter. For a start it's a program about science. Secondly, everything about it's viewing, from delivery, to what you sit on, to the house you live in, to what you watch it on, to how you hear it, is about science.

So.

As in they can't be told apart - but not that it IS magic.

Carl Sagan himself was sad that humans are turning to Harry Potter and the general retreat from intellectualism that this represents.

Carl Sagan probably wet the bed.

Reading a book is hardly going to stop people from doing science.

Yes I know, but it was only on last night, we don't sit around all day on our arses watching catch up TV

I was just expressing the fact that I forgot about it, and yes I shall be partaking in a little bit of iPlayer at some point, probably the weekend, who knows
