How to cook the right amount of pasta:

1) Take out as much pasta as you need
2) Wrong

If you amke plans for enxt days meal, then the extra pasta works. Cook more then you'd need, then use the rest that's not eaten next day in an oven food or some such. Maybe fry it on the pan.

Pasta is rather resiliant in taste when it comes to storing it.

Youtube saying it's on fullscreen mode and that you should press esc to leave. Yeah, i know.

There really should be a "i'm not new to the internet" setting on websites :p

It also tells you to tick a box to remember your preference...

Insomnia. Hate it. And one reason why i have spent the last four hours putting together a spreadsheet of middle ware license usage for a client.

7 am. Got a call in 5 hours. Hehe. Hope no one rings me from the office.

Ergh, It's happened. Toht is right about something. :(

You sneaky devil, i facepalmed your "tick a box" comment :p

You can fix it by going into firefox config and removing it, but it's a security feature apparently so diddlydoo.

The fact that my 16 month old son knows how to operate our washing machine. He can open/close the door, put it on centrifuge program or the long three and a half hour program. More so, he also knows how to pause already ongoing programs.. Many times now already I've been convinced after a couple of hours that the machine was done only to discover that it had been paused just a few minutes after I started it!

Now to teach him how to fill it, sort, hang and fold the clothes

I just pressed the "Generate Report" button on my final thesis thing and a report was actually got generated (complete lack of surprise, my code works) so I burnt all my shit on to a couple DVD's to turn in tomorrow. Half a celebratory glass of whisky later I realized I had forgotten to generate my javadocs. Sooooo tempted to just yolo it, even though I have in several documents that I would deliver javadocs -.-

I could kill the neighbour.

He's been decorating at 1am. Again. His gran (who he lives with) is off on holiday and he wants to get it done before she gets back. Gives zero fucks about what anyone else thinks. Went round holding my temper but it descended quickly into an argument because he didn't like the way I knocked on the door (which was admittedly loud - as I figured he wouldn't hear me over his drill).

What's worse is that the missus went over the other night and asked him to stop and he didn't - but she's pissed off at me because she didn't want me to go around and complain - she'd rather cower in our bedroom, not getting any sleep - and I'm angry at her because she's a modern day neighbourly Neville Chamberlain.

   :upyours: :upyours: :upyours: :poop:  :upyours::eek::eek::eek:

I'm uploading my last School document to my uni faculty's new webshite. True to form, it has the most annoying user interface ever. It doesn't let you multi-upload documents, and every document has to be described in a separate part on the site. Additionally they caution you that uploading is 'slow as fuck'. Not the exact words but the meaning is the same. I have a shitload of documents and a tonne of code. Go figure.
