I had that a couple of years ago with Npower, though my refund was only £600.

Each and every power company are a set of arseholes. Also, don't celebrate your £900 until you see it in the bank, it took weeks of me chasing them for my money for them to finally give it back, every excuse under the sun before they released it.

I think its actually company procedure to delay as long as possible.

I stayed in reading for a week. What a frightfully dull place.

Reading is the pits, last course I went on there I staying at The Elephant Hotel in Pangbourne, nice picturesque area on the Thames. Quite a few nice villages around Reading.
