Any in particular? I haven't looked at new lenses for ages, I know that beautiful 200-400mm is like £9k though. They do seem to slap the price of a lens up if it has a red ring round it.

The 24-70mm f/2.8 mk2 and 100-400mm mk2 starting at twice the price of the MK1 version. Yeah they're better, but twice the price better? The 24-70mm f/2.8 mk2 was released at £2300 which was eye watering.

They say I used 55000kwh of energy instead of the 3000kwh I actually used.

Each and every power company are a set of arseholes. Also, don't celebrate your £900 until you see it in the bank, it took weeks of me chasing them for my money for them to finally give it back, every excuse under the sun before they released it.

I think its actually company procedure to delay as long as possible.

Spent a night in a hotel in Docklands last week that was some absurd amount of money for a room about 1 foot larger than the bed.

NB. The ones with cookers are called suites and they're often pretty good! Stayed in a lot of that type of place when I've been on business in the US over the years.

If your driving and want a nice place. St Annes manor near wokingham is good. But about 10 miles from the centre of reading.
