People who don't understand that they're the customer, and they're right.

No, not all the time, the old adage the customer is always right is a croc of shit.

Too many people with too much time on their hands looking up stuff on the internet and then telling you how to do your job....the one that you've been doing for 30 years....and the one they have just spent all of 20mins reading up on

Had someone waffling on about our air-con being illegal come next year at work due to the gas and that we need to get it all changed. 10 min phone call with a air-con fitter and turns out its bollocks, if it breaks then we can't replace like-for-like is all.

Dummies in America putting Canadian dollars on a commercial invoice meaning customs documents are incorrect and the amount of VAT and duty we have paid is incorrect.

To add to that, the fact people only need to like bullshit like that rather than sharing it for it to appear on my feed.

I hate workplaces that don't enforce the "if sick stay home" rule.

Though nto sure how sickday pay works around your parts, here it's just a regular pay.

Someone offering to buy you something, like at a restaurant or something. I never know what a good range is.

Don't get me wrong, nice and all, but the annoying bit is the choosing after you hear someone else is paying :p

When I am buying for my hard up mate I always make sure he doesn't feel he has to get the cheap thing. I know if the roles were reversed he would do the same.

Amazon not being a central shipping operation so you end up with 5 packages from 5 order items.

Order something in a similar price range to what they order.
Ask what they're having before the waiter arrives.

Be reasonable, don't go for the caviar and lobster. If it's people you know go for something you usually would eat. If in doubt about the price just ask them, "I fancy trying the xxxxx, is that ok?"

I'm in Sweden but paid from the UK I'm HR manager and it is just a cold, which most of us have.... I have to set a good example or 90% of the workforce would be off atm... Now if someone has a fever or winter vomiting (usually comes with a fever) I'll send them home :p

Agreed - it's not sustainable to be home due to a cold, since it's such an ordinary virus and if everyone did this, things would collapse. Also if people wouldn't be such pussies using all sorts of nasal spray, pills n'shit to further bloated "pill-industry" and give them the finger instead.

I hate those martyrs that come in half dying of cold and spluttering it all over the office infecting everyone else.

I can't stand those people that take 10-15 days a year off for every little sniffle (usually women)

Actually, @Yoni you can facepalm all you like, statistically the women take far more sick days than men in my organisation, for every little thing. Bit of a cold, day off. Monthly tummy ache, day off. Headache, day off.

And its actually all the odd days here and there that cause the problems, more often than not a Monday or a Friday.

I'd like to see the statistics of mothers taking off work, and non-mothers taking time off work, but I guess it's virtually impossible to do, since mothers do take time off as 'sick' for their kids..

Would be interesting to see because mothers spend more time with kids than fathers, so they're more prone to get ill?

I don't know, is there a natural difference in immune systems?

I agree with those last two. When I was teaching I caught everything the children had and we were only allowed to be ill in the holidays.
