Have to do a presentation to about 50 people tomorrow at work

Know the subject and prepared well but I hate doing presentations with a passion, makes me feel quite nauseous.....hate being the focus of everyones attention.

Know the subject and prepared well but I hate doing presentations with a passion, makes me feel quite nauseous.....hate being the focus of everyones attention.

I had to do a load of these last year. The biggest thing I learnt was to be comfortable with silence (with hundreds of people infront of you). When nervous people fill the gaps in their talks with ums, errs and "you knows". That's what makes you sound stupid and nervous.

Websites integrating Facebook and integrating it so much that it kills their site waiting for it to time out. My company can't be the only place that bans Social networking for the masses. The amount of emails I get asking for Facebook to be unblocked. I always just reported it and say refer to your employment contract. I emailed everyone saying it was being unblocked but by going to the site directly they would be breaking the rules and 24 people still went to the site and got formal warnings along with a print out showing they were there. Why not use your phones you idiots then I could unblock it and let all the other websites work properly.

I have received a petition today signed by over 50 employees asking for it to be unblocked Maybe I should unblock it get someone sacked and see how that goes.

I thnk unblocking it a little bit is ground for entrapment lol. My company has it's own social media site to work things. Only like porn or wares sites are blocked tho

I do training and presentations all the time. I think it's fun and keeps me interested
