I'm not saying Powerpointitis doesn't affect me as well, I've just learned not to fanny about with animations and all that stuff (which is just a time sinkhole). Get yourself a corporate design template, stick to it, and you generally find you can cut and paste stuff over and over again. If you're taking days to create a Powerpoint, unless you work in Sales, its probably better to spend time working on real documents that can then feed a Powerpoint, which should only ever be a summary of real work anyway.

until you get a problem and need actual help though the RMT are cunts so will help nobody here. I'd support the ticket offices staying open if they were likely to be sensible but we all know they will just fuck up everyone's lives by striking

Dicks who drive into your car, or scratch it up from the pavement, and then run away.

Twice in two days now i've come out and found some new piece of damage to my car. Its quite a two way road, one side of it has terraced houses along it so people park infront of their homes.

Yesterday I came out and someone had scrapped along the drivers side wheel arch fucking it up. This morning someones scratched along the passenger door and wing mirror is completely fucked, i'd parked facing the other way.

Its a pretty narrow road, but there is a old quarry being filled in up the road and they insist on sending these massive lorrys down the road who go far to fast around the blind corners. This morning while i was inspecting the wing mirror another one went past and felt like a whisper away from me doing ~40.

Only just moved into this rental 3 weeks ago, soon as the contracted 6 months is up were off, not dealing with this shit. Had my little corsa for 2 years, not a scratch or ding on it. Now this.


I'm really annoyed! Grrr


Fortunately wing mirror covers are not overly expensive, i just hope non of the electrics in it are broken :/

It will be pretty robust servos in the mirror itself. When some little Nu-estate ratboy kicked my wifes mirror off they broke the hinge that connects the mirror to the mirror base so we had to get a whole new mirror. £50odd plus labour from the local garage, £200+labour at Nissan.

They have to do something about it though - I have heard a lot about the university at Luton from friends who went there a few years back and it was already terribly fractured and getting increasingly unsafe for the non-muslim students as the muslim students were getting radicalised.
