Sometimes I think it just isn't worth taking holiday because of the backlog it creates!

Go on holiday longer, that way work actually has to deal with it instead of just getting you to work extra hours and being cunts about it.

me: if I escalate, we will not be able to measure and report the performance of the department properly.
them: care = 0; customer = god. why you fail so hard tdc?
me: if we escalate for everything the escalation becomes meaningless and we will never be able to fix our flaws.
them: you clearly suck as a person tdc, I will complain to your manager.
me: whatever.

me: I don't want to escalate.
manager: I understand, but do it anyway.
me: why are you here?

I could not give less of a shit about any of the superfluous rubbish in these sort of shows. Don't give a shit about Dana and Chris is a complete waste of airtime - his sole purpose in the show so far seems to have been his dad missing his karate exhibition last season. He just contributes *nothing* to any aspect. Would be kinda nice if we could get a scene or two with Brody in. If we don't have Brody I don't see why we have to follow his family around. Instead of that we get to watch a whole episode of Dana emo'ing all over the place and all this crap with Carrie's detention order. It's not a show about a stroppy teenage girl or bipolar disorder ffs, it's supposed to be about international espionage, terrorists and blowing shit up!

Homeland is turning into one of those shows that's going to go on longer than it should. Maybe it will kick in in the next ep when this money trail storyline warms up. It sure as shit needs to.

I think I've bruised my radius. I don't know how I did it but I've been outside all day cutting hedges and having bonfires and it's been hurting like a you-know-what since about lunch-time and there's a slight lump where it hurts.

I fell over hard about a week ago a cut my knee to pieces. It has a rather fetching scab at the moment. This is annoying for two reasons. One I was totally sober and falling over sober makes you look a total cunt. Secondly it has healed just enough that I forgot how sore it was and while round a lady friend house this afternoon I knelt on it which caused enough pain to bring a tear to my eye and made me bleed right through my jeans.

Shitty morning.

- Crack in bedroom ceiling, pulled down the wallpaper (don't ask, not my decision) and there's a long crack there. Water was leaking down, ceiling needs to be fixed. Further inspection -> Hole in roof, water leaking through loft directly into my bedroom. Have used man-skills and stuck a lot of absorption stuff I found in the loft near it (probably a bad idea) just to stop the leak being as intense. Landlord to be informed tomorrow. Massive bucket too under crack just in case. (Gets better)
- Fell ONTO the ladder coming down from the loft, slipped. Landed about <--> from my favourite parts, but now my left thigh has a nice dark red bruise on it. Aches to walk (Gets better..)
- Dropping onto the ladder, I forgot I put the ladder next to my banister... So if I'd slipped another inch or two to the left I'd have gone RIGHT DOWN the fucking stairs and probably broken my legs or arms or neck, scared the living shit out of me. Note: The GF heard me yelp (like a girl) and ran outside to find me straddling the ladder trying not to swear.
- Above was caused by noise at 6am.
- Now, I feel like I'm dying. I want to sleep.
