Yeah I tend to find I can forgive Amazon for the occasional fuck-ups like this but the smaller guys should really be getting it more right. They need to to be able to compete.
I ordered something form a smallish guy earlier in the year then I changed my mind the next day and sent them an email saying I wanted to order something else. So they said place the order and we will cancel/refund the old one so I did just that. I get an email a few days later saying that my order has been despatched, but the order number was that of the first order not the second so I said "hang on a minute, what?" and they said... that they had changed the order numbers around. "Buh? but ok". It sounded like it was something they had consciously done so I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. One week later, guess which order turned up?
