Quality of Prydwen vs Excalibur RvR

hmm, I disagree with you belomar about the fact that prydwen will be underdog for the first couple of weeks (atlest thats how I understood ur last sentances).

Prydwen has allways had nice fg vs fg battles.
excalibur, can't really say much about it.

Don't think any1 will do under for any1.

More groups, more different group setups... mouse < cat < elephant < mouse thing.

But yes, will be a intresting sight.

What do you think will happen--which server has the "best" RvR when it comes to keeptaking and large-scale warfare (organization and motivation), and which server has the best gank groups (skill, RRs and experience)? Since Prydwen been down Ive been on Excalibur abit (also abit before Prydwen went down) to check out RvR on Excalibur . Actually in terms of general feeling it felt very similar to Prydwen: Very little gankgroups, instant-RvR and massive zerging at times. Alb/Excal has the upperhand at the moment - but mostly due to population (active RvR pop). Excal/Hib seemed to be a crying bunch of peeps too afraid to go into the frontier, pretty much same as Hib'/Pryd in OF. Exceptions make up the rule here.

Average level of skill on Excalibur wasnt much higher or so. On contrary there was not a FG out I rated as 'top' . Tho I admit its hard judging when u run around on a 'SI' -character in RvR. Im basing it on approx. 3 evenings of 50-RvR and about 50~K RP's btw.

After clustering Im guessing Albion will be the top-dog with keepfights and relicraids (inspired by Alb/Exc), most likely followed by Hibernia closely (inspired by Hib/Pryd) and Mids suffering mostly, except for some Alarmclock-raiding.

Im guessing all realms will come with (very) competative gank-groups - tho I wouldnt be surprised if Hibernia will be the one with the least amount on em.

No, I'd personally say that the average skill level is higher on Prydwen than on Excalibur, taken over the whole population. One of my experiences with coming to Prydwen from Excal 1.5 years ago was that the Prydwen RvR population had higher standards and paid more heed to group setup. You barely find a pure PUG on Prydwen these days, while Excalibur RvR people are much more laidback and don't mind running in unopted and frankly gimped groups.

Sorry, I was perhaps a bit unclear--those statements are relevant for the general RvR population versus the hardcore gank group population, respectively. "Normal" Excalibur players tend to be less focused on min-maxing and winning than Prydwen players (just my impression from playing both servers).

Top grps on excal are a tad better then what ive seen on pryd, atleast the mid grps, alb have a few good grps think PE will sqeese in there in the top with AD and FC. Hib excal is depending on weather or not the top guilds make a comeback for clustering. Maelstrom aint all that not judging by vids and the FG fights ive seen last weeks, id rank NP gr00ve alot higher, mabye on par with village people.

And for normal average player id rank it about the same that its more of a realm diff then a server diff. albs=worst on both servers alot of n00bs and ppl who run in oceanus rogs. both mids and hibs tend to be better prepared and have more of a clue what they are doing.

Stealth wars, hard 1 hib excal have alot of high rr stealthers same with mids albs tend to run bigger zergs, and have higher stealth pop. on pryd hibs have some zergers some good players albs have alot of zergers and adding scouts, mids are few and far between.
