The CoC is never going to be precise just like a contact it is down to interpretation and that is GOA's job not yours. If you suspect something report it but to post this as if he has broken the CoC already is just shameful.

No i went over with good intentions only to find that it was being abused. I did not REPORT them like i said or record any footage of it, i will next time in future if i see any person doing it to abuse teh game for there own personal self gain.

I think rather the opposite.. Requiel himself stated in his last post:

Scenario 3: Animist sets up shroom field, jams down shroom button and goes afk. - Infringement. As he is not there to press the shroom button he is in breach of the CoC.

How is jamming move left button any different from jamming shroom button (for instance 1)???

In situations 3 and 4 though one is a 'hardware hack' by jamming down a button or placing a weight on the keyboard, and one is abuse of a third party program, both are punishable. We will tend to be harder on the third party program user but that doesn't preclude us taking harsher action against the person in scenario 3 if the situation warrants it.

anyway, afk exping != macro crafting and should be allowed / not prosicuted since it is allowed to go afk, and if your pet happens to be on aggresive you get some crappy exp

Its not as if anyone's enjoyment of the game was being spoilt by this as it would do if it was say useing Speed hacks Radar or Mob/Artifact stealing?

It was most likley put in to stop 3rd partys afk lvling charecters and then selling the accounts for £100+.

So why make the dig deal about it by makeing a long personalised post? Seems to me like you have issues with AOD for what ever reason be they valid or invalid which has brough about this.

He cheated and should be punished accordingly, much like the same way Juj was punished However i think Juj was to harschly punished, but still it´s the fact you don´t give different punishments on similiar cases. Either free both or punish both , thats the only options I can see viable. And that is what this thread is about , atleast for me.

Yes theres different degrees of cheating...and some ppl may do it unknowingly (sp?)...but when ur involving 3rd party software or some means to fool the game that ur at the keyboard when ur not so u can XP ...then they deserve the same punishment in my book.

After playing the game for so long and reading these boards for nearly as long...u get to know how certain ppl will respond to certain threads

so when i say or reply to a thread with that was a "typical response" it means, thats what i would expect off that person or guild...nothing more ...nothing less!

its called perception...or knowing the ppl around you

bit like if u RvR with the same ppl day in ...day out...u learn how they play..what they will do ...so to a point u dont even have to ask em or tell them what to do in a certain situation

Was out 2nite xping a few alts around DM, when i happened to come across Mereg of AoD (48 Cabalist) afking xping. Spinning on the spot infinitly with Saphire Sim up on Agro killing Neutral con mobs.

Sat there and watched for an hr or so, waiting to see if they did anything what so ever. To which they didnt. First off i thought ok well this is blatant abuse so i thought i'd record it on fraps or something.
Decided not to as this was my first encounter with this, but instead i logged on another char. Ran off and charmed a higher/equal con mob to the Sim, proceeded to buff it up, then i went and followed the Sim with this un-charmed Agro attacking me. Not a problem didnt hurt me to much, eventually the Saphire Sim agroed the fully buffed/eb/absed mob and attacked it.

Saphire Sim died, Mob agroed AFK xping pet owner and subsquently died. Now if this person wasnt afk they surely would have "woken-up" from there afkness and moved/shouted or just done something other than spin on the spot. I even waited at there body till they /auto released.

Yes you got an XP death, serves you right tbh. Next time i catch you afking XPin, or any other person for that mater i will record it and send to RightNow for some kind of hopeful banning/punishment. This sort of abuse shouldnt be tolorated by the community, it may seem harsh but its lame for all the "normal" ppl who have to xp genuinely.

I hope AoD doesnt condone these kinds of activities.

P.S. Couldnt give a flying fuck from all the QQer's who may or not flame, never can tell as there logic (lack of) preceeds them.
