2 years ago Phillips loaned GAME a 3dtv without the need for glasses, it was a concept tv but boy did it work!

I stood there amazed and with goosebumps, I was watching a tv which was projecting a 3d image right in front of me and I was not using any other equipment to see it. No glasses, nothing.

The viewing angle wasn't great but then the TV at the time would have cost over £10k. If I had the choice I would rather wait for the Companies to bring this technology to a level that the average consumer can use without glasses.

Yeah that does sound more reasonable - I wonder what the horrible problem is with it?

For it to work, it probably needs quite a narrow viewing angle. ideal for PC monitors but crap for TVs

Gran Turismo 5 Release Update

Agreed, they have nothing to fear from CoD and have know about the shipping date for a long time. It is either technical or legal imo.
