Personally, I'm really fucked off about the 3D situation which I posted about in another thread.
I think it's crap, it doesn't work that well, it gives me eye strain, you need several pairs of glasses if your mates are round to watch the footy and if one person doesn't have a pair then you'll need to switch it back to 2D. HD came along and other than Sky, the investment in HD TV has been shite to say the least. I bought my spanking 52" Bravia this time last year and still only have two HD channels. Now they've somewhat lost focus on HD and are now onto 3D.

I think that's due to the fact that most HD TV content is natively 1080i. Remember a lot of hoo hah about that at launch. To be fair, there is little between 1080i and 1080p to the naked eye.
If you want HD content you need sky, or virgin at the least. Sky's commitment to HD is very good, it just costs a fuckload.

Movie companies and cinemas love it.I really wish 3D would just fuck off and die already, some bullshit novelty, I'm really suprised anyone cares about it what so ever.
I stand by my comment about glasses vs autostereoscopic. Glasses aren't much good when you wear glasses, and if you've got an astigmatism then you're in for headaches, headaches and more headaches.
Gotta be honest, don't want 3D, don't care about 3D.
That's the brain damage![]()
