Problems with quick start character loading

I have a problems that started when I upgraded to LOTM.

I can no longer use the quick start character logging, for some reason my characters no longer appear, and even if I log out normally (in the hope they appear) they dont.

It means each and everytime I log in I have to goto the main character screen and select who I want to log in.

For some reason this has happened to both the LOTM and TOA clients I use, I dual log on my PC and all the clients are various copies of the other,

Any one come across this or know a fix?
