I must add... is Anfield the only big 4 ground that actually makes some noise?

Anfield is the only place where they will sing/support their team when they're losing. However it is not isolated just to the "big four" now, many other crowds are very quiet. Villa Park is nowhere near as loud as it was just ten years ago -- you'll get a few cries of 'shit on the city' and 'best team in the world' from the Holte but that is about it.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooo at half-time from the Arsenal fans.

I wonder if they will last the 60 mins, before disappearing like the other night, when you got outclassed again.

Lots of posts from Chelsea and Arsenal fans ... not at the game for the local derby? Looks like a gorgeous day to watch a match too!

Me and Vlad are the only 2? We both go to uni, not in london.
I wanted to go to a game before the season ends (only just able to afford it recently) but all the games are sold out. :(

My uncle is working in Lodon this year so he has his/my season ticket. I will be getting my own one back for next season.

I would not say we are being outclassed today Chel$ki just making chances count.

Yeah that is a problem for the "big four", I guess they are a victim of their own success. I thought the ticket for the away end at the Emirates was quite reasonable though, £35 if I remember correctly ... much cheaper than a home season ticket (£1,300 starting price I was told) anyway.

Can get a ticket at the emirates for £20 if you live close enough. only a few thousand each game though i think.

Really? Last time we were up a good few grounds had a decent voice. Admittedly your lot have been quite quiet for some time though, says something when the bluenoses probably make more noise then you ;). Still next year we need to replicate what Stoke have done at home, make it an intimidating atmosphere, which was have done this season.

Any Chel$ki comments on the penalty? I though a body check on the player with out getting the ball is a penalty but maybe the ball was not under control.

He was offside but it was already game over tbh.

Also the Ade penalty was zero contact ?

We were pretty poor today i thought. Hungover from midweek but it didnt really seem to matter as we actually finished our chances today.

That was shocking. watched that with 3 Arse fans and they were not happy. Did you notice that there was never anyone in the box to receive crosses? At best you had one player in there but marked, and 2 floating at the edge of the box waiting for some intricate passing. Wallcott can run, really fast its true, but if he doesnt not improve his shooting and decision making under pressure it is all for nothing. And what is with his goatee? Did he stick it on?

Arsenal did not field a team that looked likely of winning, and for all their possession in the first half, they had no one that took charge in the final 3rd or could take chances. You only really woke up when bendter and ade came on. Suddenly you had two player in the box when crosses came in, and it paid off.

Get rid of Ade, get a player that plays with the passion of Bendter but doesn't miss so much (big target man), and one more center back and you should be ok. Oh and Keep Arshavin fit and stop playing Nasri in the middle. Cesc should be in the middle, not supporting striker.

Chelsea won without really having to do much. Oh and yes, there was no contact on the Ade penalty, he realised he hit the ball too far, and hurdled over cechs leg, then dived.

im not going to call ade's a dive...

cant work out if he was trying to avoid cech and balance went (in which case due to the flick of cech foot upward = intent = penalty as it forced the avoidance/fall)...

or wether it was a dive. The speed he moving he could have got onto the ball again, no he couldnt score from the angle due to defenders but he could have done something with it other then it rolling for goal kick.

And turamber, the offside rule is actually very simply worded, the problem is they need to specify what is "active/interfering" and what isnt. Till they clear that up the rule is stupid.. but no matter how the rule is written maluda was clearly offside as on the keeper between him and the goal at the time the initial shot was made. Only reason i can think of it not is if he was behind the player that took the shot, but iirc he was infront of the player who shot

Barcelona were just about to win La Liga but Villareal scored an injury time equaliser. Almost makes me feel a bit better :p

+edit: The linesmen were crap the whole game, Arsenal had atleast 2 times going through on goal when offside, and we had lampard through 1on1 when on but given offside.

Not saying we should win but the way we lost was horrid. Yes drogba was kicked but could the twat have gone down any easier with the slightest touch. Nothing Wrong with Anelka goal then the own goal then the Offside. Ade was a shocking dive kind of want Wenger to dock him a weeks wages. But we played OK i though we had good attacking play just lacked the final touch Theo could have got a few with more composure. In the end i though the scoreline flattered Chel$ki.

scoreline more then flattered chelsea.

Anelka goal was stunning, the movement on the ball was insane and totally fooled the keeper.

Walcott, well dont know what to say. He had some good opportunities but was snatching at them. It shows mentally he is still very young in footballing terms but hopefully he can sort that out with a bit of time.

I really think that if arshavin played it may have been different in the final third, he is deadly in and around the box. Something that is extremely lacking.

I have a very nasty feeling that Tevez is going to end up at Anfield next season. :(

Hell of a strikeforce that will be, Tevez and Torres. Those two alone could end the 19 year wait.

How would he fit into their formation though? They seem to have found a good formula with Torres backed up by Gerrard, with 2 of their wide players and mascherano and alonso in the centre. When they had Keane, Benitez didnt seem to know what to do with him.

Dont think he go to liverpool personally. If he staying in England then a team looking to improve greatly, need a striker desperately and have plenty of money is Man City.

This will let tevez keep his family where they are, and stay near the friends that he has made already in England. Really wouldnt like to see him at another english club, but to be honest I would understand it. The poor guy has been getting promises that he be signed up for almost a year now and look what happened.

Madrid and Milan also got the money and need to improve their squads so he may go there.

I really dont want to see tevez go, but also he has to understand that unlike alot of teams we have worldclass squad players that need to be willing to warm the bench for periods. He has started 50% of the premiership games, yes he been subbed in most of them, however the goal return is low for the time he has played and the money that being talked about is way to much when £10million already been paid out for him in the last 2 years.... I reckon utd board are looking to pay no more then about £18m for him, taking total fee up to £28m if you include the past 2 years. More then enough to finance the purchase of a player of his ability. He got goals in him but just not shown it as much this year which probably not helping

I was swearing at the tv when the **** Joorbachian was shown, talking on his phone and covering his mouth so he wouldn't be lip-read. He is a law unto himself, and I do not think there would be any interviews or statements from Tevez without him. He is working for his own personal financial gain, and nothing else. FIFA should ban the 3rd party ownership of players and piss the twat off.

I sure hope so! :) Maybe Tevez even could fill the left "midfield" slot in a 4-2-3-1 like Kuyt on the right.
