i think rafael has been amazing, can't wait to see fabio next year

We don't agree often about football but you are spot on there, he has the potential to be one of the great right backs and his brother might actually be better.

fabio be more offensive then Rafeal i think, but raf will be slightly better defensively as well as been good going forward.

really looking forward to next season when i suspect he going to get a large number of games, as long as he stays injury free. Potential to be the Utd right back for the next 10 years

well with evra SAF might try fabio as a left mid with giggs on the way out, he wont paly ahead of evra anytime soon barring injuries and banns, which is a bit scary considering thier youth and talent, then u jsut need a long term for VDS, rio and scholes an your sorted for another 6-7 years (tho foster, evans and fletcher/anderson looking good)

That would assume they all stay though.

Tevez looks fairly likely to leave in the summer, with the Macheda bummage i don't expect as many people to mind. Ronaldo blatently wont stick around for five years. The comments from most of my manu friends suggest Nani and Anderson wont (well they hope not) be around that long. But even so i expect they'll buy many a top class player in the coming years so it won't matter.

if you looked at Arsenal in the assumption that no players will leave/be replaced then they'd have an equally good side, and be virtually debt free :)

Ronaldo - I think he will stay for at least another 2 years, and then it will depend entirely on how we are performing compared to Europe's other top teams. Financially and competitively. He says it his dream to play for Real, but he also likes playing at the top level and winning, his insistence that he is going nowhere since the end of last summer has a lot to do IMO with Real's drop in form, managerial appointments and the financial power of the Premier League.

Anderson is young and is going to be better than Scholes. The Man U fans you are talking to are impatient. He is nowhere near the finished article, but has amazing potential. Nani has developed a bit slowly for my liking, but has had his chances limited because of Ronaldo, we have a few wingers in the squad, so it really depends on how he does next year.

Anderson will be fine, Nani doesn't have the heart to be world class though, he is utterly complacent.

I wonder what Anderson would be like in a weaker midfield he gets talked up for his good game agaist cesc but he is in a very strong midfield there.

He seems good at breaking up play, but not so much at setting up play and scoring. His chant about shitting on fabregas are retarded tbh :p

His passing is overlooked. He keeps things very simple in general, but can play some killer balls, he is very intelligent and that will only improve. He can play defensive mid or playmaker, and the only thing he really needs to improve vastly is his shooting.

He's no Scholes. Gonna take a long time for United to find someone to properly fill that lads boots.

Mark my words. He is the next scholes.

You are all just too blind and ignorant to see it :)

He doesn't have Scholes range of passing or shooting but he is more mobile with the ball at his feet, he makes some well timed runs and plays the odd the killer throughball.

Closest i've seen to Scholes in terms of talent recently is Alan Dzagoev, he'll make a big money move before long and wouldn't be suprised if United are interested.

I rate Anderson, but I don't think he's a similar player to Scholes. I also rate Scholes as one of the top 5 players to play during my lifetime, hence why I said it's going to be hard to replace him :p

there are many players out there, who are more talented than Scholes. He got his status for his hard work. Not for his talent.

and no, i'm not saying he didn't have any talent at all.

edit - post number 12.500 :/ omigod, have I really been posting that much here?

I was saying to Vlad earlier that i hope we go in for Alan Dzagoev. only 18 and looks great already.

I don't think Anderson is anything like scholes really, the comparisons are a bit silly, it's just because theyre in the same team.

that's bollocks, scholes is a class apart. It's the little things, like the little chip with the outside of his boot over the Roma defence when utd beat them 7-1, that landed right in one of the strikers paths, perfectly weighted, and set up a goal.

He is class, he does have talent and he is one of the best european midfielders ever. What im saying, is that there are other players out there who are more talented, but they will never have the same hard-working attitude or the same level of proffesionalism as scholes. That makes him unique.

Good old Eric, a massive reason why United are the club they are these days. :)
