Those saying easy 6 points bah..

You'll be surprised. With a good few purchases (e.g. Mancienne back from Chelsea), i think we'll finish mid-table no problem :D.

Looking forward to Everton game, return of Lescott afaik.

With the format of the renamed UEFA cup next season, it would be a curse to be in it. Too many games, and the teams that could qualify, barring spurs, do not have big enough squads to deal with that. Villa and Everton are going to have to sacrifice another cup competition early next season if they really want to go for the Europa league cup.

Also with Boro/Newcastle looking for the drop we can surely nick a few players from there, namely Tuncay/Adam Johnson/Butt etc.

Boro I think will be okay even if they go down. They will lose tunay, downing and maybe a couple of others, but Southgate will stay and they have some very good youth players.

Not nice for boro fans, but it may be the best thing for their younger players and Southgate to go to the championship and have a successful season for once rather than another dog fight.

Newcastle on the other hand are fucked, too many players that will never accept playing in the championship, too many overpaid players. It will force a huge overhaul. I can not see Owen, Martins, Viduka (even at his age), Duff, Nolan, Taylor, Gutierrez, Collocini or Smith playing in the championship.

The only reason I have any respect for Wolves is McCarthy, think he is a quality manager. His interview on goals on sunday today was hilarious as well.

"what did you do wrong last time you got promoted to the prem"

mm: " think I could get away with only spending 6million"

"what would you do differently this time?"

mm " spend more than 6million"

Hope you mean loan and not purchase :p

Not sure if Mancienne will be loaned out mind you. Personally i think we should be giving him and Ivanovic more game time now. Alex has pretty much cemented his place in the starting 11 with a run of awesome displays with JT. I think Carvalho will either be sold in the summer or given a role similar to what Hyppia has at Liverpool. He's a great defender when he's fit, but recently he seems very much made of paper.

Agreed, this one always cracks me up.

"Fucking abysmal, that was what I fucking thought of it. C'mon, let's get to it, I'm trying my best here. What did I make of it? I thought it was the best bit of fucking football I've seen in a long time. Do me a favour. It was a crap start to a game. There you have it, can you print all that? Fucking rubbish, absolute tosh. Drivel. Shite. Bullshit. That's what I thought of it. Did that help? I'm quite pleased, apart from the fact that's given them the poxy result, I'm fucking livid about it – of course I am. So, there you have it."

Loan or Purchase either way i think he'll be on his way back up here if Chelsea stick with there current lot of defenders.

I'd like him to go out on loan into a premier league side because i think with a place in the first team would bring him on massively. But at the same time i don't want us to keep loaning him out to the point where he's feeling brushed aside but being kept hold of as a commodity.

My guess at the moment is he's not playing because every game is critical for us, hopefully we'll see more of him next season though if he stays with us. Personally i think we could sell on Ferreira and Carvalho and still have ample cover across the back line to give everyone a bit more game time.

Fuck me I was expecting changes, but this is our team :-

Foster, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Fabio, Welbeck, Anderson, Gibson, Park, Tevez, Macheda

4 of them are 18 and under, massive gamble.

Well fergi certainly showing the league is the issue with resting so many players for our midweek game. Was surprised at the folks not even on the bench, afteral he could have just rested the likes of ronaldo and then thrown them on if we need a goal.

As good as our youngsters can be, i feel that Everton will be in very high spirits having seen that lineup, and that is dangerous especially when they are a strong side.

Should be a good match, and the Twins both playing together should be a laugh :D

Looked like a penalty to me as jaggy clipped the ankle which sent it into welbecks other leg hence him falling down. He had rounded the keeper already with the touch so there was no reason to go down.

But then been fair number debatable decision by the twat riley (hate him and how people say he a united fan i dont know. lol)

Everton have shown little ambition for much the match, however united not been able to get tevez and Kaka into the game. Centrebacks on both sides been too strong.

congrats to everton.

you know your doomed when after getting the advantage a lazy player takes a lazy penalty. grrr. sometimes you just want to light a firework and shove it up his arse. lol. Still go with what i initially said about that guy, why spend 30m on berby when for 20m you could get santa cruz

the quint was always a dream, and credit to the united youngsters for their performance. Riley though, grrr. Typical it gets decided on penalties after him not giving the decision during the game

lmao, aye such a man utd fan he not give a pretty clear cut penalty.
