Would be great if there was an actual risk of doing advanced styles, so there is a chance you fumble and hit yourself when using backupstyles.

I logged in at MMG Emain atfer i Logged last night. I'm standing on wall and I see a savage pounding me. Both instas down (mezz) so I thought i was done for and jumped off the wall to die of falling dmg

But the savage jumps down aswell and there u had me on 5%hp and him on 15ish maybe. Then something comes to mind and I turn around and DD him.

Most fun experience I ever had :d

I remember my Armsman was in Bolg (Over a year ago), after a 1FG keep take, we got stormed by 3-4fg hibs, I was at the top hoping to stop them getting to the casters, I got attacked by 4-5 of them, I smacked all of them at least once and when I got to 10% hp I decided to see who was the smart ones and wernt stuck....

I killed three of the 5 by dragging them over the edge to thier death

No RP's but shit it was funny..

OMG just remembered another, we went to the Mid stairs to shake em up a bit with my wiz, they had DF. After a short while we got pushed back but I dropped a storm at the corner below stairs. I killed the same mid (I presume grey) 7 times, I had to have a chuckle, 1-2 times is an accident, 7 times is unforgivable.

I killed a Bonedancer once in DF with my S/S Hero. That was teh funny! Took me only 10 Minutes.

Doubt Sunwolf was running solo if there was indeed a guild group up and running... Dunno when this was though, it it was within the last 2 months, then it could very well have been a friend playing (as Sunwolf plays on Mid now)... If it wasnt, there's a 98% chance that sunwolf wasnt solo, cant remember a single instance that sunwolf wasnt in a GG and there was one running...

It was before SI I think about 1 year ago.
And he said later that the only thing he could think of to let his group mates(fatalitys was in TB i think then) know where he was, was if he yelled for help
But in our eyes it was much more fun than that

well we were both meleing on a stroke oh HPs left, he swung, ablative procced, then his next hit half damage was absorbed, and like 25 hps hit him.

I've got a feeling you are going to use DAOC ACT 2003 paragraph 2.3 of section 4 against me and explain to me that ablative does not return damage.

I think the easiest way to make you understand apart from coming over and twacking you myself is as follows:

Example:
You walk in emain
You see an enemy!
The enemy is overpowered and instawhatevers you
He attacks you in melee
He misses due to pbt
He attacks you in melee
He hits your bony chest
Your "ablative proc" on your chestpiece "procs"
It removes part of the dmg he would have done to you
(More specific example
Dude hits you for 200dmg everytime he hits you
One time your ablative buff procs
It removes an X amount(in this case, 100) from that dmg(since it has a 50% condition, meaning it removes 50% max of the damage the hit does to you)


Now, since this prolly got you nothing but grey hairs and headaches, i will sum it up:
Ablative procs REMOVE damage from physical attacks you recieve, hence I would be very surprised if you managed to kill someone with it.

Edit: you only knew that because you have radar!

oki this didnt happen to me but i was watching he's screen and belive - it made me cry from laughter.

Puritan was running solo in Emain and at amg a bunch of albs killed him. When he was dead one of the albs was standing on he's corpse jumping /laughing /rudeing etc when suddenly a solo Hib showed up and nuked the corpsejumping alb to pieces and all the other albs started to /laugh at the dead alb !
