Thats a whole lot of bars with grapple. :OOOOOOOOO

10 of them are dedicated for Kagato with grapple, rest is BG and slam of course should I misclick 1 icon. Wardens dont need anything else naturally enough.

It depends on what you use them for. I have macros for vent details etc. I even have a macro for when I am using a german keyboard and I accidentally press shift+7 for the / key before I have typed <return>. All this macro does is let me change back to qb1, but I could say I was using an entire qb! You can also use alot of qb for crafting.

I have 6 qb that I might use during an rvr fight (although 2 of them are almost entirely filled with buffs), I also have a few others set up with random stuff that I would rarely if ever use but just incase such as random ML abilities or champ abilities, backup qb with pots on etc.

only ever use 2, rest are qbind and mouse scroll wheel is pretty sweet for switching up and down in 1 qbar.

I thought we were talking actively used rvr qbars, cuz thats the only interesting comparison really

No idea how you can use 10bars in DAoC, lol =) Ok, I could count the 5 bars full of typo macros I have ("gimme SEX/qui buff" etc.), but for usual RvR it depends on the char.

Animist:
www.liloe.de/bilder/daoc/pic_galadhiell.jpg
On bar main.10 I have my self buffs +long duration arti uses, on bar main.2 I have shrooms. Ctrl.10 has some ML stuff, like titan and mines, while Ctrl.2 has my pots (as you can see in the macro POTS), LT, SW, RR5 and some other stuff are /qbind

Druid:
www.liloe.de/bilder/daoc/pic_dierna.jpg
On Main.10 I have all the timered buffs, be it spec or CL (dmg add), on Main.2 I have all my buffshears, ae root and disease, on Alt.10 I have regular buffs +pet. Greater heal, insta heal, RR5, root are qbound.

I always swich qb1 and qb2 with /qbinds on my mouse, so basically on those two chars you can see the general template for how I use my setup. Generally you can say that my Main QB is for the stuff I need all the time, whereas the Alt QB is for the stuff I click, including a 2nd bar for potions (pots include MCL, CW charge etc.)

I got another pic from my BM www.liloe.de/bilder/daoc/pic_anarael.jpg where you can see the same stuff again (mh yer, so sexy in ML10 armor ^^ but nerf the belt use having no icon :( )

If your instant heal is quick bound how do you see if its up or not?

Spiritual power guides me while I play :p

Seriously though, I have all my qbinds on Main.8 so I can check. The easier way of doing so is to simply have no target and press the button, then it tells the time and I can check my clock when the insta is back up =) No problem at all =)

1) If you try and use an insta heal and its not up someone is normally going to die.

2) I see you have never been in a fight that last more than 30 seconds then.

3) Why is quickbinding it so much better than say having it as Alt+5? I can see when its avaliable for use and can push it just as fast as any other button.

1. your gonna use an insta heal if you cant heal, so they die anyway

2. I see you dont know who your talking to

3. your often moving when an insta heal is needed, having them close to wasd (or esdf) for me is faster

1) You have more than 1 insta heal, if one is unavaliable another might be avaliable.

2) Have I hurt your epeen? :fluffle: Do explain how you check if an insta has become avaliable during a fight then? Surely the easiest is to simply have an icon on your quickbar which lights up when your insta is avaliable?

3) The numbers 1-5 are pretty darn close to wasd. Not that hard to move your finger to the next button.

I have to do a french translation, I cba, I have to do it for tomorrow and instead I spent my time exchanging messages on facebook with a friend. Needless to say she was as bored as I am...............give a computer here please, a computer where I can play DAoC :p

OT: alt+5 takes longer to push than simply a mousebutton. As Succi said, what good is it to know that it's down? "Teamspeak: Lol, you're gonna die, I know it :p "
The buttons 1-5 are already taken for other important stuff =)

Goretooth, I know I can't attack myself :p But I love myself so much that I target myself all the time and so I get these messages when I got into warmode ^^

1) Your gonna know which one is up, as you check between fights... if the fight is long your obvious gonna try both.

2) No, i've never had complaints... can post some pov if you want a look. Obviously having it qbound on your main qbar so you can see it is opted, however that isnt possible with the volume of buttons needed

3) Pressing alt+5 involves moving 2 fingers, making it harder to run into range of target at same time if needed
