I also saw the point in the thread suggesting the move that modding could be different. Are we just keeping the same mods or are new ones coming in/swapping from general? Some of the stuff we've posted might be taken the wrong way by different mods, especially if they don't know peoples' posting styles etc. Are we just being put on the front page with no merge> Anyone who can clarify? It'll be a 'wait and see' job methinks.

There are no different mods - this point has been made again and again to deaf ears. The same people that actively moderate here are the one's that moderate on general. Ot isn't moving to general, it's link will be on the front index. No merge.

Mods: the only active super mods currently are tdc and Jup. Will's been afk for ages now, and Jup's busy with real life issues, so essentially it's teedles doing the modding for both general and OT. On top of that you've got Deebs and Mystic_G who respond to reported posts and spam bots etc. I think Damini is still a super mod too, but she's not too active either.

I was going to say on the vote thread that since it's mostly brits around here(not sure about OT though), change is not in your nature. If the brits could create a good enough anti-odorant and stain removal, they wouldnt' change their underwear

And since we're talking about OT mods, even if i'm not popular enough to get votes(funny how that always gets the votes ), i think i'd be rather fair as a mod. Know the scene, been around gods know long enough and i very very very rarely hold a grudge.

Yeah he is; the hasn't been the need for many mods for a long time now. The community isn't big enough, and it's largely self moderating anyway.

Teeds and mystic seem to log on often enough to kill spam bots, and Jup will hopefully be happy and back online sooner rather than later.
