You aint good. You're shit. End of story, there is nothing to accept. Same can be said of smack infested country of yours too

you english think its your god given right to win every match or youll give the "dirty foreigners" your playing a good kicking.

Waaaaay of the mark. We dont think that at all. Just cos the english are passionate about their football doesnt mean we expect to win every game.

Having witnessed first hand, the treatment of foreign police towards english fans abroad i think this is a shit thing to say. Yes, i know we arent angels, but even the innocent get treated like animals. I saw a 12 year kid get battoned by a spick cop for not moving away when told, and this was 36 miles away from where england were actually playing enjoying a meal outside with his parents.

So you're comdemning all english people calling them thugs and then in turn saying you hope they get beaten up? Surely by your logic, you are in fact just as bad as the thugs through your thinking?

And ooh beleive me, it really is far far from all of england who are badly behaved. It's the whole snowball effect which has given off that impression. It starts of with one fairly large event and from then on in, every single tiny little thing which happens from then on is added onto peoples opinions and given mass media attention. The headlines of '4 english football fans tonight got arrested' kind of sums up how the small matters are getting massive attention just to strengthen a weak case that the english are worse then any other country.

I don't see england as better then other countries in general despite being english but it does make me wonder what has sparked off all of the recent hatred towards the english.....is it down to the whole iraq thing? In which case maybe people should look up all of the other countries which were involved too.

Don't really know my point of this post other then to say don't tar people with the same brush just because of where they come from. It is EXACTLY the same as racism and it's just primitive.

England have always been targeted by other nations in Europe, it's not a new thing, never really figured out why so much anger is aimed at us though. When we talk about 66 it's gloating, but for some reason a Brazilian would be able to talk about their world cup wins and it wouldn't be. That is just one example out of a million.

Mmmmm...the sweet smell of loserness! You'd think after seeing England playing in so many international competitions I'd be bored of the smell but I just never seem to get tired of it.

Seriously, did you honestly expect them to WIN!? Talk about deluded.
Perhaps the smell simply follows YOU around?

Had the ref not made a bad call they would have won, simple as that, but its just a game after all isnt it?

Kk, the fact the other English player (not Campbell, the other one i can't remember now, Terry i think) is holding the gk down is obviously irrelevant :p
Actually its prety hard to jump with your arms at your sides, he never took his eyes off the ball, no foul.

tbh I thought the ref signalled a push.

I mean tbh, if you are going to disallow a goal for every little bit of contact that happens in the box, then you will disallow half of the goals in the tournament. I keep looking at it and can see nothing worthy of a free kick going on in that penalty area.

Blocking the gk from moving/jumping or even touching him in the 'small area' (don't really know how you call it in England :p) is a foul whatever the case is. You just can't touch him in there. It's against the rule. And i didn't see anyone complaining about cancelling the goal either.
I think you'll find the GK moved under Terry, but think what you will, ref was wrong.

The point is that they don't do a foul by actively pushing him down, but by not allowing him to jump up at the point they are standing. That's what i mean holding down. This is not allowed. Only way to score there is to allow the gk to jump and jump higher than him.
Sorry matey but your wrong again, you are no obligation to get out of the way of the gk at all, you cannot impede him eg: holding him back or push out of the way etc, the gk decided to jump under Terry, he was beaten twice fair and square.

Changing directions mid air must be quite hard I suspect.

lol eh? The english press did not slag off the Italians at all. in the 3 newspapers i read, not once did they slag off the italians. All we had was the match reports. Nothing else. Its just you and your anti-england propoganda.

And btw, even though we played like a bunch of *****, we WERE robbed. End of story and of course the newspapers are going to make a big deal out of it in order to sell papers.

err no, you are talking out of your arse. Why do you think attacking teams put a player on the line at corners etc? If the goal keeper comes to collect and there is an attacking player stood in his was stationary, the attacking player has no obligation to move.

Wana blame someone for england loss? not the ref that's for sure...
blame the defense for leaving postiga alone at 83rd minute on game, blame the deffense for letting Costa strike when he's deadly at large range and everybody knows, blame beckam for another penalty miss (3rd in a row with england) blame darius for letting the GK deffend the penalty and blame james for not deffending a single penalty over 7 shots...and yet blame Ericsson for playing defense all the game since owen's goal.... and now that you have all the people you can fairly blame stop moaning and live your life... England go home now...
PORTUGAL FOREVER! :p

Actually your right sort of, if you deliberatly prevent the gk from jumping for the ball by hooking his arm etc yes its a serious foul on the gk, however the distinction here is that it was not deliberate and therefore not a foul.

That rule GK.40 (?) to do with deliberatly preventing the gk from jumping for the ball.

You can write books etc about it but it will always be that way :p

Stop crying and read the feckin rules.

I've seen it a few times, also never saw Terry take his eyes off the ball, there is nothing to stop him jumping for the ball, in fact is the gk was miles away.

If Terry deliberatly impeded the gk then it was a foul on the gk. since there was no deliberate action against the gk there was no foul. if anything the gk impeded himself by trying to jump through Terry.

I know how to play football dipshit. I represented my town up to the age of 16. As you can see so easily, Terry went for the ball. I dont know how you jump when you are aiming to make contact with the ball but your arms always end up above shoulder height as you use them to gain leverage. The contact imo was totally inconspicious. Wasnt like he jumped with the sole intention of elbowing the keeper in the face or sommat.

But anyway, fair play to Portugal, they were the best team on the night and deserved to win.
