I know how to play football dipshit. I represented my town up to the age of 16. As you can see so easily, Terry went for the ball. I dont know how you jump when you are aiming to make contact with the ball but your arms always end up above shoulder height as you use them to gain leverage. The contact imo was totally inconspicious. Wasnt like he jumped with the sole intention of elbowing the keeper in the face or sommat.

But anyway, fair play to Portugal, they were the best team on the night and deserved to win.

dipshit ??
u represented what???
omfg he does not need to have intention to make a fault to the keeper.. inside the keeper area he cant have contact with the keeper and prevent him to jump as he did... that's written, yet again i suggest you rtfm...
And yes Portugal played better and this is why:

PT ENG
Shots: 30 11
Fouls: 16 24
Corners: 13 9

Posession: 61% 39%
Yellow Cards: 3 each

Penaltys Scored: 6 5

ye they were better... sorry for the brits i cheer for them when Portugal not playing but last night, Portugal played to win, england to deffend owen's early goal...

I've seen it a few times, also never saw Terry take his eyes off the ball, there is nothing to stop him jumping for the ball, in fact is the gk was miles away.

If Terry deliberatly impeded the gk then it was a foul on the gk. since there was no deliberate action against the gk there was no foul. if anything the gk impeded himself by trying to jump through Terry.

how was the GK miles away if Terry had his arms all over him ... kinda strange... get over it you didnt deserve to win cause u didnt play to win...

wtf are you going on about? IF an attacking player is stood in the opponents penalty area he has no obligation to move out of the way of the goalkeeper. Watch a fucking game of football and you will see attacking teams putting a player on the line for this reason when they have a corner, purely to get in the goalkeepers way.Its like in open play, if i was to nutmeg you I would have to run around you, as you have no obligation to move out of the way. Its schoolboy stuff that you get taught at the age of 6. Jesus, get a clue will you.

just give it up, you guys robbed yourself. Refs make bad calls all the time, it happens if you let your game depend on that you are playing risky.

Give what up? I was arguing about the rules of football shit for brains, not arguing about wether the goal should of stood. If you bother to read one of my earlier posts you would see that I said that england were second best on the night.

not when they prevent the GK from jumping and getting to the ball with theyr arms... anyways... your gameplay lost you the game u were allways deffending and if some team made anything to win that game was Portugal... now give it up... PT vs Holland for the semis

He didn't say that England deserved to win.

Ricardo jumped into Terry, not the other way round. Ricardo jumped underneath Terry's arm and it made it look like Terry was holding him down.

England played poorly but that doesnt take away the fact the ref was a joke. i got worried when he gave a free kick for roony loosing a boot, i mean wtf. the ref had no bottle and doesnt deserve to be refing matches at that level. the goal was a goal anyone can see that but the home team always gets the benefit of the doubt with such amature refs.

imo england played well,
just wrong tatics, was stlong defence tbh hehe, but as so many times before at this level of the game, it's a gamble that didnt pay off in the end, if they'ed played the full 90'mins like they did the last 2x15 they would probebly won.

Totally agree. Sven took a gamble by hanging onto one goal and it hurt us. I thought he would've learned by the France game but obviously not. :| Time for a change I think.
