yep, many sb;s is alt.
people do 1 main what 1st lvl to 50, some even lvl second.
mainly i think sb:s is for solo, when there isnt any other type activity going.
dont know many, maybe 1? who has main as sb? there is offcourse alott

if you start look numbers, pick up there lvl40+, 30+ and so on, one huge number dont give good view from 1 class.

Playing blade is great fun swap axes using all kind of envenoms lots of styles, where some classes there are like 3 4 options what style u gotta hit and then go 2h or some caster classes where 2 quick bars is all u need. Only thing I have played that can be more fun is healer but then u are stuck waiting till u have a group including skald ect and random groups isnt the best so back to blade I go.

I don´t get how you can lvl a sb for fun, i got to lvl 17 then deleted it before last summer, cause it was so bloody hard to get groups with it. Just hate soloing.

yeah i have a buffbot not afraid to admit it either.. pretty much everyone in mid knows my bot Emmas LittleHelper

the only reason i started the bot was because of the buffed infils. Which prolly started there`s cos of a select few buffed SB`s.

For the past 4 days ive been without a buffbot still do well in emain unless zerged by 3-4 infils (which are buffed) but i have to say i feel sorry for any assassin that doesnt own a bot or have access to buffs. And i salute them for putting up with it. I respect the high RR Sb`s without buffs greatly.

The only gripe i have really is i can see alot more grouping happening with Assassins when SI arrives with the removal of IP from the class (which was needed imho), that isnt what the class is about.. the assassin is a solo hunting class.

I was outside APK in Emain and in 1h I saw over 20 Infils/Scouts leaving with about 85%-90% HP. Just hope they fix the buffs to be ranged or on a timer

Would also be great if all RP stat sites was removed so people wouldn't be so desperate to do everything possible to get RP's.

Non buff bot owners may be at a real disadvantage , But look on the plus side they proberly know how to play there class alot better for it

Lost count of how many times im 2 hit killed by SB's etc but on the other hand i get great satisfaction knowing i've killed someone who's buffed to the teeth.

But thats just me cause i havent figured out how to give up.

Buffbots suck period, any assassin, heck anyone who uses them for rvr purposes. Is simply a coward. RvR combat on prydwen is no longer about tactics skill, one players skill against another its all about whose buffbot is the best, and basically thats pathetic. Look at the fabled buffbot squad of Albion Beeorx, Dioz, Rambo, Maxlight, Sousi, Gohrim, Heartless/Battlefish. Who can't even leave Camelot and face the perils of the grey cons in Camelot Hills without a full set of buffs. Heck further more wtf is a Friar doing using a buffbot???? Then Midgard has its fair share of buffkids. Rayzer, Emma (self Confessed.) and many more. As does many hibbies.

I'm a Legendary Alchemist, I could should I choose carry around hordes of buff potions. but nope, again I don't I disagree with mythic introducing them into the game. And as such, trot about on my merry way unbuffed, and o' natural.

Basically you bring a buffbot to rvr, you don't deserve a single rp you gain.

your right Durgi it does suck.. but unfortunatly nothing is gonna change.. i can see it getting worse in the future, with SI due soon (10 days and counting ) new players will arrive as will new buffbots, mythic will never, i repeat never put a range on buffs primarily because by doing that the dedicated buffbot accounts will get closed there for mythic will loose money. NO! company wants to loose money even if it means ignoring there customers, which from previous experiance mythic are good at.

I`d love to be able to go out into the frontier and hunt effectivly without the need for buffs but lets face it, that will not happen. Why you ask ? because every other player that you will encounter will have buffs of some form or another, doesn`t matter what class they are if there buffed they already have an advantage of some form or another.

People know i use a bot hell when most blades see me around mpkE and they see my bot they ask for buffs, fine by me, but my shaman isnt just a pure buffbot like some i know, she`s specced for.

1. buffing me when needed
2. healing while xp`n
3. RvR when i get bored of my SB or Warrior

heals/buffs and offensive power. A buffbot is a character that purely buffs and will more than likey have augmentation of atleast 47 with 0 or little in cave and probably around 15-20 mending.

You cannot fault people for wanting to perform better than the enemy and if buffs do that then there is "nothing" you can do about. You either live with it or do exactly the same as them get buffed.

Durgi just because someone uses a buffbot doesnt make them a coward. I spent 4 months RvR`n without a buffbot and did well, then the time came where some of the higher realm rank players started using bots making my life enough short which only made me fork out the extra £6 a month so i could compete on an even lvl with those players.

Yes it gives great satisfaction when your unbuffed and kill a buffed player, but you get that same satisfaction when your buffed and kill 2-3 buffed players. There is nothing wrong with hunting all the time buffed.

Aye I am wiht emma here, my "Buffbot" the ever faithful TPS is 47 now and at 50 will be specced 37 Aug 29 Cave 26 Mend.

He will have better heals than any cave Shaman and will be equally if not more RvR group friendly with Group Friggs, a 25 spec Mend 40+ Cave with items and RR for a good single target DoT, 3rd best AE DoT for uncovering stealthers at MG's, end3, capping buffs, resist buffs.

Just remmeber "A buffbot is a person too and he/she has feelings like the rest of us"

atm he is RR2L2 and I enjoy playing him now and then in Odins. He is a superb asset in helping me farm cash, hell he makes my Thane look GOOOD TPT can solo Cthonic Knights with TPS at his side, and I can honestly say TPS has had more PvE time than RvR time in the PK's

Durgi sorry but if you think anyone with a 2nd account and a buffing char = a coward then I will politely disagree with you, /salute of ur still running round unbuffed.

I will agree however that its one hell of a feeling making a hard kill without buffs, it makes that kill all the more sweet, whereas times when I am buffed and kill, its just another victim, and there is no sense of achievment. Such is life.

Whenever I see Emma post, I always think back to this thread. An absolute classic and you can't go wrong with quotes like:

The buffbot problem isn't as widespread as some claim. Only a small minority of players use buffsbots. So you cannot justify yours by saying 'everyone else does'.

You use a buffbot, you are part of the problem.



I've killed two lv50s a number of times and that, without buffs. Those are good fights when you feel the 'battle fury', invincible until you die.

I've killed two lv50s with buffs from someone's bot, or a passing cleric. I make the kill, I see my buffs and feel nothing. The buffs corrupted what would have been a pure kill.

It's not like I kill two lv50s every day
On the odd occassions when it does happend, those are the feelings.


When people are drunk and talk shit, you say the alcohol is talking.
When players are buffed solid, I say the buffbot is killing(not the player) and as we know, buffbots neither have, nor need any skill.
