I really do not know why people associate Sweden with suicide. They are currently the 35th country on the list. For comparison UK are 38th, Finland are 20th, Belgium is 2nd and currently Greenland hold the top spot.

Anglo genes and no ozone layer aren't a great combination, but it doesn't seem to be just Anglos; I met a surfie chick in the Manly Billabong store - proper Mediterranean looking, probably Greek or Slav ancestry, told me she was on her third skin cancer. She was maybe 23-24, and she was religious about putting on the waterproof factor 50.
