So I mowed the lawn yesterday, for the first time this year. It's lovely here.

"Mowed the lawn". I see. Money a bit tight? Send your Mrs to the ladies grooming parlour like everyone else

:p

I really do not know why people associate Sweden with suicide. They are currently the 35th country on the list. For comparison UK are 38th, Finland are 20th, Belgium is 2nd and currently Greenland hold the top spot.

I'm sure the Uk would be higher up the charts but a lot of suicides get classified as accident/misadventure.

I think I have acclimatised to Swedish spring... I went out for coffee on my balcony on Sunday morning as the sun was shining... I was just in my robe, didn't feel cold at all. Checked the thermometer on the way in -4 heh!

Have to go to a christening in mid Wales on Sunday. They were still snowed in yesterday, I'm praying for a sudden thaw!

Bondi Beach is shit. Full of sunburned Irish in GAA shirts and officious Aussies telling you what to do all the time. And its a dump as well. I'd rather be here *looks at snow piling up against the window*, or maybe not.

This. Much more civilised than Bondi. And that Gelato stand is fucking awesome.

Would be a bit rude not to go to Bondi since I'm here. Spent the day in Manly today, was very very nice. Water is perfect temp, crystal clear, nice bit of surf and swell. Spot on. Why doesn't everyone live in Australia?

Because it's full of Australians and its too far away and it's not all that exciting except if you are there on holiday.

I know it's been mentioned but, Aussies are the reason. They're caaaaants. Especially the men, ridiculous levels of sexism over there.

Only the bellends who refuse to wear hats and insist on doing everything shirtless.

Or, in other words, most people. 2/3 (two-fucking-thirds!) of Aussies get diagnosed with some type of skin cancer before they're 70. Anglo genes and no ozone layer aren't a great combination, but it doesn't seem to be just Anglos; I met a surfie chick in the Manly Billabong store - proper Mediterranean looking, probably Greek or Slav ancestry, told me she was on her third skin cancer. She was maybe 23-24, and she was religious about putting on the waterproof factor 50.
