I tried with all browser clients; Netscape, Firefox, Opera, IE... all latest versions and Flash player plugins loaded correctly.
Sometimes I'm able to reach payment process page, but it will always fails with error... sucks

I get that all the time. it goes away after about 2 hours. then I can try again and it will freeze in invoice mode again.

kept doing that since last night. starting to piss me off.

Tried using Opera browser but it doesnt work properly with flash somehow. cause I cant see the list with how many months I want.

Hmm...so what exactly is wrong with my join date?
I just registered here to vent my thoughts about the fact that I have a brand new DAOC gold edition here in front of me, anxious to play again with my friends from the US DAOC who moved to EU, but I just cant. Note : I want, but I CANT.

besides, their obvious proof of technical skills dont really motivate me to give any credit card related data to them even if it did work.

Willing to wait one, maybe two more days. But honestly, I'm getting tired of going about my way to enter information that they need so I can PAY them.

I don't understand why they put it online before it works. I've tried to pay my account now for some time, changed my email and didn't get verification. After that I go to subscribe page and it says I don't have a active subscription first. And after that it says I already have an invoice going so I can't pay.

I hope this will help you all:

First download Firefox browser from: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

Then go get new Flash player plugin from:
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave...=ShockwaveFlash&application/x-shockwave-flash

With this done you should be able to log in to account page, and Flash should work ok... From subscribe window change subscription period to any other and validate, this should take you to billing process...

Don't know how many others still have this problem, but I've been trying to activate ToA for a few days... The flash website seems to be working properly but the url for activation won't work.

Anyone know whether its the website not working or whether its my web browser etc?

Weho, I got a little bit longer then before with my subscription.
This time I got some fields to fill in but there where no text describing what to do.

I used opera and the flashplayer that someone pasted above. Then I rightclicked in windows and chosed "Play" instead of Loop".

So, having shelled out the cash to play this stupid game, with TWO brand new cd keys, I STILL can't subscribe to DAOC-TOA. Not having problems with Flash or iexplorer, the page seems to work, but every time I try to subscribe I get a different failure message in my emails... bad cd key, subscription out of date (out of DATE!!!?)... This happens with BOTH cd keys, although the failure messages are different in French than they are in English... go figure. I've emailed the friendly tech people at GOA, but of course they haven't responded and I guess I shouldn't expect them too anytime soon Come on guys, get your act together. Not only that, but they decide to do the work right before the weekend.... smart move einstein.

It works for me now. Can access the page and change info and the confirmation email arrived only minutes later. Glad to see that goa put in the extra hours needed to fix this (at least for me).

I'm finally back (I did say I was going to be away until mid-afternoon but that the technical team would still be working on the problem) tho granted later than I expected.

I've been informed that most of the problems have been fixed and that things should be running normally. As the pages have been down for the last several days there is no doubt a considerable load on the servers which is why it is difficult to get access to the payment pages. Currently it should take approximately 30 mins between activating a payment option and your account being opened once again.

I've passed on the problems of new accounts not being able to get registered too and am awaiting a response shortly.

If GOA really exist I believe they have bailed ship and are over all mountains with our money thats why this never gonna work...

according to the techies at the office everything is working fine and it's just server load. I've asked them to check to make sure that is the case though.
