The Games were fine at the tesco I went to, said there was 54Zeldas, basicly nobody went short of anything they wanted in terms of games or accesories..

TENNIS IS FUN. I'll start zelda tomorrow after college. :D

haha, just got in, walked straight in and got it.
There are two game stores in southampton, the one I went to, which is just a shop on the street, and then one inside a big shopping mall. There were about 10 people queuing outside the mall. I waved as I walked back with my big GAME bag :D:D

Waiting for mine to be delivered so I can go out and hunt down a 2nd remote controller.

You'd have to have been insane to queue here last night the weather was bloody awful. Still reports of game shortages from al the on-line places I buy from (except play.com which is my last resort as that won't arrive before the middle of next week :( )

Yeah the big retailers all say they expect several more deliveries before Xmas. Which is good news for those who missed out and bad news for ebayers :)

Doesn't matter for you does it? you're not going to get to play it :D

On another note my tesco had 54!! consoles in and only around 20 people queuing needless to say everyone walked away with around 2-3 consoles.

Well Zelda arrived from Amazon, Play said they can't send me a ninchuk and controller, and jus got an e-mail from Amazon saying my Wii will arrive tomorrow, which is a pain as I am having it delivered to work and I don't work saturdays which means I got to get up early and wait for a phone call from someone at work incase it arrives.

So I sit here with Zelda in a nice box next to me waiting till the Wii gets here.

Just got home to find a note saying Parcel force have been and I can go pick up my package from the post office 5mins down the road, however seeing as I'm not going to play with it until Christmas I'll leave it until tomorrow or next week I think.

It does indeed rock, heck, even me mam who's had an adversity to consoles and computer games since I had a Commodore 64 all that time ago thinks it's great fun.

As far as i'm concerned, mission accomplished :)

Try not to be such a dick.
Don't make me find a post on the daoc forums which I can warn you from.
Judging from your posting times, anybody would be within reason to suggest you're an unemployed layabout.

Got mine. Plugged it in and recieved a "System Files are Corrput" error message. Rebooted and got it to start up. Bloody thing is crashing at random intervals now and won't even boot Zelda. Gonna have to be sent back, but due to shortages when the hell am I going to be able to get a fucking replacement!! :(

Well well well.

I must say I'm impressed, spent half of last night trying to persuade Mrs X to get the fk off it. Tennis is fun, bowling is good altho I'm shit at it.

Anyway I am knackered after 2 hours of boxing and I'm teaching karate in an hour DOH.

Soon as I get back its time to prise the mrs off Zelda.

Nintendo forgot to advertise you need a garden sized room with lots of space to be able to get the best of it :p

Had to rearrange my bedroom.

I thought the boxing game was awsome and i really hope more boxing games come out because this type of game works really well for the motion things.

The only other game i got was that Monkey ball banana game which isn't that good. Not fussed about Zelda it's nothing new to me so not going to bother getting it.

2nd allocation will be avaialble to order soonish, but it may not be for stock that we get till the new year.

Nintendo don't even seem to be able to keep up with demand for the DS, and thats been available for nearly two years now.

PES6 isn't anything new either but you wasted money buying it for the 360 :)

And let's face it GoW isn't anything new either. It's another simple 3rd person action/shooter. But it has been done so well it's worth buying.

Zelda is exactly the same.

Whipped- your luck must be bad! When ever I’ve gotten a console on launch the thought of it not working has always come into my head.. Hope you get a replacement soon!

As for how the Wii is.. I do really like it but apart from Wii Sports there’s not alot of point in having it at the moment (imo :p). Zelda is great and the new controls work well with it.. but I would have enjoyed it just as much on the game cube I think! (and no you dont get tired playing it)

Wii Sports is good but its more of a tech demo really. Tennis has to be my favourite out of the lot. Control wise I’d say its the most accurate and you feel you have quite a bit of control over how the ball is hit back.

Nintendo seems to be quite clever in the market it’s aiming for though. Sony and M$ are closely matched with their hardware so its just a case of who can buy up the most software houses. Same console same games basically (bar a few).

The fact that my girlfriends dad wants to get a Wii just about sums it up for me as hes the last person that i thought would get one. Even hearing the DJs on ChoiceFm + Kiss go on about the Wii seems weird as Nintendo consoles are usualy shunned by the majority of people. (only for the kiddies and geeks like me :p).

I wonder if MS / Sony could release a similar type of control for the X360 / PS3? Although I’ve never avoided a game because the graphics aren’t good, if one of the above were to develop and release a similar control then it would be taking away one of Nintendo’s main weapons.. Graphics are one of the last things to praise about the weewee..

RANDOM RAMBLINGS OF A MAAAAAAD MAN ^_^ keke lolz
