Bit worried now, Amazon says the est delivery is 13th December even though they said if you order a royal mail 1st delivery u will get it on the 8th, so its making me wonder, that I will prolly get it next week and not on launch day.

Amazon are awful with new releases. Ordered my 360 from there and it wasn't dispatched until Saturday.

Just had phone call from Argos to confirm mine is coming on Friday - yay - decided on Raving Rabbits and Wii play, still fancy Red Steel but my other half got Gears of War to finish before he can have another shooter

Im guessing zelda is a good idea, what other ones? are there good multiplayer?

I dont really know anything about the wii, but i think I want games that make good use of the controller because thats the whole reason im so interested in it

Go to tesco my tesco extra which is only 100ish meters from my house are selling them tomorrow at midnight.

They are getting around 30 consoles and my mate is the manager so he is putting 5 or so aside for us.

Zelda is an obvious choice maybe that Monkey Ball game the rest are just meh tbh ;/ there is a great selection of arcade games though.

Pre-ordered mine from play yonks ago and got the mail most people got about orders not being fulfilled.

Then pre-ordered from eBuyer.com. Their buyer has been on the forums keeping everyone informed. My Wii is in the warehouse and will be shipped out tomorrow for Friday delivery. Zelda and Red Steel (Damn them putting Warioware back to January) are currently being packed by Play.

Father has got one pre-ordered with Gamestation and has been invited to the midnight launch to pick his up. Still contemplating whether to go or not.

So come Friday, with both mine and the old mans to hand, we should be able to try out all the 2 player action in the Wii Sports package

Had my 360 since release day last year and have only played a bit really. Started playing more since getting the HDTV last week and finished Gears of War yesterday evening.

PS3 doesn't interest me at all until the price drops. So probably get one Christmas 2008.

you haven't stated that you are guanrenteed a pre-order from what I read. May put some bidders off.

My mate just confirmed they had 40 in consoles in around 1 hour ago there is noone queuing either.

I was told PCWorld dont preorder, yet I just phoned them up and they said that tehy dont even have enough consoles to fill preorders...

Well anyway, found one at a Tesco Extra like 25miles from my house.. queued for 4hours, got one. Was number 24 in queue, some guy had been there since 2pm lol.
