Unless your prepared to get yourself fully ToA'd your gunna be gimped! & we all know how easy it is to get fully sorted with Arti's etc..

Im sure youve heard it all before... ToA has killed DAoC, especially for the casual player.

sorry, but am i the one who notices the people who have said bad things about daoc are people who have alrdy quit? give it a try imo, game still very much alive, and very fun for me atm, i love NF, if you can find fights other than alb stealther trio's, or pansy sb's who run when losing.

why do you still play the game if its so bad? or maybe you already did and now just making silly comments about a game you know nothing about in its current state..

I for one is still having fun , even with toa and nf. actualy best rvr i had ever has been in NF.

Sure might take a long time to get scrolls, artifacts then lvl them.. but hey it all pays off in the end.
And rvr can be whatever u want it to be. attack a tower/keep expect zerg fights ... or simply just roam the lands and look for a fg v fg fight.

I do still play DAoC almost everynight, DAoC *can* be fun at times, but for the time it will take a new commer to the game to get sorted wit L50/ ToA gear/Arti's etc & ML's .. there will probably be a handful of new mmorpg's that will probably be much better daoc (such as DnL!)

I agree.. RvR is MUCH better than OF ..but only if you got time to get sorted wit ToA/Arti's
