i read this thread last night. and after being unable to play daoc for about a week + now from my proper HDD being fuxord i managed to dig dig dig up a loverly extra HDD so i now have room to install daoc and can play it again untill get proper HDD fixed. woot just in time bring on teh NF

The server may still be booting up. However, I think that there may be steps you can do to prepare yourself for the moment that we can actually log in..

A) Make a copy of your ToA folder and call it NFToA or something.
B) Finish your downloads now as 10 MB will have to be patched from 1.69 -> 1.70 once the update server goes live.

I think they did. The prydwen population + excal population + possibly any french/german populations = WE NEED A BIGGER TEST SERVER MEIGHTS!

I don't think that Gorre is as high-end as the live servers, I wouldn't be surprised if it's build up partly from scrapcomponents of the live servers
