Yes you should ileks. It was very clearly explained that she only went after the injured :)

I cba to watch it again but.... Yeah she went after injured people, they injured themselves on purpose to get taken to wherever Rory went. So why didn't they end up on the life support things? The pirates that were perfectly healthy but lost a bit of blood did :( /shrug

Suranne Jones did a good job like, played the part of a mentally unstable tardis quite well :p I knew i'd seen her somewhere before aswell so I dug around IMDB and she was in Coronation Street it seems, she played Karen Mcdonald and has rather large boobs.

now those are some chest puppies right there.

I thought she looked like a cross between Liz Hurley and Helena Bonham Carter. Sort of what The Corpse Bride would look like IRL.
I approve.

As for the story, Whovians will have to watch it 2 or 3 times because there were a lot of "canon" clues thrown in there.

I think its a running joke with the writers tbh, he dies way too often for it to be considered real :p

lol yeah like someone pointed out he's the Kenny of Dr Who lol.

Ooh I loved the bit in this weeks where house says 'fear me I've killed hundreds of timelords!!' and the doctor just mutters 'fear me, I killed em all' rofl, that kind of writing is just geeeeenius :clap:

yus :p lol I wonder if Idris will ever come back again, was quite funny seeing the doctor and his tardis interacting on a person to person basis "Whats your name?" "Oh you mean after 700 years your finally asking?" "Well what is it?" "Sexy!" lol.

i loved the ep i have to say, it was a nice change of pace after ep 1 and 2. The Tardis was brilliant and was also nice to see the old console too

Yeah i mentioned before about the on going joke with Rory being killed all the time hehe i love it

Excellent episode this weekend. Thought the others were way too Americanised though and tried to present itself as high science fiction, something which Doctor Who is not very good at being. Didn't much like the way the story was told either in the double episode.

Great episode. The dialogue between doc and Idris was really sharp and well played by both actors.

Loved the implication that the Tardis stole the Doc, not the other way round. Because I don't religiously follow Dr. Who canon, I don't know if it has been mentioned before but the archiving of Tardis control rooms was ace.

Yes!! that was excellent, we always have the implication that the tardis in sentient but this really made me chuckle...and her being called sexy lol

edit: oooh and I was really impressed by suranne jones, I did not recognise her from corrie, she used to annoy the hell out of me in that when I saw it...nice to see actors who can act lol

Aye she deliberately left Corrie to break from that annoying character and develop her abilities more broadly. She hasn't earned much in recent years because she has been out of the limelight it but she is now a much better actress because of the time she has spent playing a wider variety of roles. The last episode really was a showcase for her and she pulled it off convincingly, hopefully the work will start to come her way again now that people have seen that she is a very capable actress.

By the way;

Final words of Idris;

“The only water in the forest is the river.”

Did anyone else take it as a reference to River Song?

How exactly ofcourse would involve a forest of some sort, most likely an "epic" episode that has a big meaning to this season, but still.

Kill Hitler? I'd rather start with Moffat instead. Fast losing interest in this series.

Episode did seem to start very silly, it was only maybe towards the end that it started to perk up a bit, but even then it didn't feel like one of the best i had seen overall.

Liked it, very Watson Thedius Fifth at times, but still enjoyed it with my jelly babies in one hand and pond appreciation control in the other.

Well i liked it, it had some great laugh out loud moments, and i for one love the story arc that Moffat weaves in to the series. I love it when it all comes together at the end, and i love having the light bulb moments too, rather than 'pfft...i knew that was going to happen'

Its the best thing on TV atm, better than the bastardised version of what Torchwood has become

Oh and Pond gets hotter and hotter.....Mmmmm
