Ita brilliant, it makes you feel like a kid again. Its great getting all excited watching a show that doesnt take itself too seriously but still has great stories at the same time

really really enjoying it but seriously,

haaaalp, can't do spoilers!!! ffs :( DON'T SCROLL DOWN IF DIDN'T SEE LAST NIGHTS EPISODE.

[/BROKEDspoiler] how many effing times does rory have to die and get brought back? last night I was just sat there going oh ffs rory's dead again...3, 2, 1 aaaand he's back in the room! That's what the 3rd or 4th time he's croaked it now? [./spoilerFAAAAIL]

love Mat Smith, think he's such a refreshing change, they have been soooo lucky with their choices of actors for the new Dr Who, they've all been excellent.

What I found a bit funny was how she was protecting the injured by blowing the hell out of anyone who came near, but they didn't get hurt :p

I like finding out about these weird bits of the story that are forgotten, The Valeyard sounds cool. Hopefully they won't forget :D

I remember watching the Trial of the Time Lord. I also remember the (6th?) Doctor would lose all his regenerations and have them given to another Time Lord. I remembered it as The Master, not some future incarnation of the Doctor.

IMO the stories this season have been pretty terrible. I think it would be much better if they just kept things simple- the current writer keeps trying to overcomplicate everything and you sit there thinking "wait wtf..." or "but how..." every five minutes!

That said i really like the new actors! Although Rory is a bit annoying

Oh my, big expectations from that one. Best writer around in my books(har).

Liking the new season, bit...emotional perhaps, but nothing too much. Lots of speculations ofcourse, about the things you all know already and have already considered so, let's not :p

I do like Matt Smith, he makes a good doctor. Is it true I heard that the Timelords may be coming back? we still haven't seen many ramifications from the rewriting of universe by Pond.

How old are you, five? Its not exactly Tristram Shandy we're talking about here, how simple do you want it ffs? A purple dinosaur perhaps?

Nope the Valeyard is definately the Doctor in some way. As always in Dr Who (being about as soft sci-fi as it's possible to get, and never having bothered with any attempt at canon) there's contradicting accounts of how exactly it is the Doctor. But it is.

Oh and

The moment that damn rory took another breath, i went "balls" since it would've been a perfect point to end that little diddy.

But, disney strikes it seems.

I think everyone misses the on going joke about Rory, im pretty sure it wont be the last time he is killed. I personally find it rather funny

I'm enjoying the series but find some of the scene edits and continuity a bit strange.

E.g.

Episode 1 - one minute he's on the floor being pinned down by agents ... the next he's in the President's chair and guns being pointed at him (about 22.40 on iplayer). I assumed it was due to an add break in the US ... but then ...

End of episode 1 there were cliffhangers ... Beginning of episode 2 it was all "3 months later" plus some flashbacks to how things panned out.

In last nights episode I don't remember the pirate who got cut by the boy (17:43 on iplayer) disappearing (I assumed as much and he appeared later on). He barricaded the door with gunpowder barrels ... and then nothing. If the boy was safe in that room, why not the pirate?

Maybe I'm being a bit pedantic ... but it's just sloppy imho

My mate was talking to me about what you are on about itcheh but regarding a wider range of films, the example is Back to the Future 1, there are so many holes in the film like when he goes back to the future, why go back only 10 mins? why not a week? but the thing is when you love the show/film so much you can forgive and many times completely ignore the holes

I asked the same thing. Apparently they were all sick in some way (all the pirates?) and Rory was drowning. The doc and the other two were alright. One of the "wait what..." moments I was on about. Maybe i should just stick to Barney the dinosaur tho.

I really enjoyed today's ep which is quite high praise. It's probably the first Matt Smith one I can say that about :)
