Nerf what, boost what, why, and how?

Im not gonna talk about what and how things need 'nerfing' but...

when you look at some classes, some are so good that they makes the others useless...

savage for instance, zerker, thane and warrior are crap in rvr compared to savages, this doesnt mean they CANT be good but just that the savage is better, especially thane, the class is truly useless with the rogue damage table and smite cleric wannabe nukes...

spiritmaster & runemaster, look at both, the spiritmaster is much more dangerous in close combat and lives very long, the runemaster on the other hand, dies in a few blows even with 6 sec pbt, and both are offensive casters arent they? bit silly isnt it?

i dont play mid, but i do fight them...

Classes that need love= Thanes/skalds/cabalists/wizards/bards/mentalists

Zapsis give merc studded?oO why?:p

We got evade 1 only remember, it would destroy our class completely.Since studded is slash vunerable in alb i think which would make savages 2 shot us instead of 3-4 xD(joke :p)

Personally, each realms needs certain classes nerfed slightly to make this game more fun for all, it would make more classes suitable for rvr and cause less whines.Game will never EVER be balanced though because of course everyone is different and no one agrees with everyone else.

Though the game is the most balanced it's ever been at the moment however i do not agree on the stealther side of it but anything else yes.

Would be great if they could fix so that stealth only was 100% when standing still.

And the fix on the S/D/T/Q hit % for h2h savage will maybe adjust things alittle.

Alb studded is just as every other armor in alb, neautral to slash. Resistant to crush and weak to thrust.

Who is going to win:

The merc who uses DT on the berserker?
The berserker who uses frenzy on the merc?

The merc will win. DT when the zerker frenzies and bye-bye zerker. His damage will not only be close to nothing during the 30 seconds, he will also have wasted his 20 seconds of high damage increase, thus his chance to win.

But other than that, no, I don't think mercenaries need to be nerfed, not DT either.

However, I do feel it's a little bit unfair that the two other light tank abilities last 30 seconds, while the berserker frenzy lasts 20 seconds ...

It's great 1vs1 but not so good in group rvr as you have to hit targets to make it land but it can land on multi targets although that can cause mezz breaking xD

Funny, people whine at the BD because he's uber in 1vs1, but so-and-so in group RvR. :)

But yeah, I very rarely see DT used in group RvR, and frenzy is being used a lot, so you're probably right. :)

Still rocks in 1vs1, though!

nerf buffbots rather than infi`s thx i have to play very carefully and dragonfang is by no means guarunteed where as insta lifetap is

Evade 3 < Evade 1 + chain + shield?

Before the LA nerf it didnt matter too much as zerkers did more damage, but now it seems very one sided

Seriously, a shield merc is really not getting the best out of the class.

Why not just roll an armsman, and wear plate?

evade 3 is laughable

the only thing my zerk evaded were some greencon paladins that wanted to hit me unstyled


absorb is something you have
evade is something you might have

Hitting for 4xx+2xx each 1.5 sec is overpowered imo.

I reckon you sitting on someone would do 1k damage jenna :E

Besides yeah merc can hit upto that damage on caster if he/she crits but i been hit that much in 1.5s with good resists, heh a savage nearly 2 shot me with 2400hp(i even play one and admit they do need a bit of toning down, preferably like artemis said sort the s/d/t/q rates out) , also us slash mercs hit awful damage on healers/shamans/bards but then again on healers/shamans we are normally diseased=30-50% less damage.
