Shame my company paid phone is a Blackberry Torch then . Plus I cannot download apps on it apart from updates to anything installed currently due to the company security policy on it. I do not own a personal mobile phone at all.

Not really. Samsung and others were getting into a new "early-adopter" market, and their initial prices reflected that lack of price-sensitivity. As the market grows you expect prices to drop. Also, if you look at the hardware spec from two years ago and compared it to now, you'd probably find Samsung's unit cost on a Galaxy Tab was a lot higher than the unit cost for a Nexus 7 today (the Galaxy Tab has 3G and an extra camera for a start).

The only people who'll be really pissed off about the Nexus 7 will be Amazon; this is Google parking their tanks right on Amazon's lawn.

I got 2hrs yesterday before I had to do some stuff and 3hrs 30 on them today, I'm enjoying them muchly.

I do! Well, I got a load of lessons for Christmas and started learning earlier this year at SNOzone (now Snow Factor) and I quite enjoy it. My missus' old man is ski instructor too so I've been getting some advice and hints on the sly. It's great fun.

Looks like this just now, there's a lot of speaker in there but the plan is to move out of my place in a couple of years (pending an improvement in the financial sector and Scotland not getting independence) where my KEF R's will be in a separate stereo only room (also, excuse the dangling speaker cable, i've not got around to running it down the back of the stands since I've moved it all around).

They're on an Atacama Equinox stand to the left that holds my Onkyo amp / receiver that powers the XQs for Sky HD / PS3 (thus gaming and blu-ray), my Audiolab MDAC and power amp for the R's, the PS3 and my Sky HD box.
