Just ordered 2x 4k monitors.

Don't be so un-nerdy and vague! What monitors? How big? What beastly graphics card setup are you going to use to power them? Is it for gaming? I thought 2 monitors would be pants for gaming (unless you have like a main monitor and then a second one to the side for extra info) with the bezel down the middle.

2x 28" iiyama ( all the 4k monitors use the same panel, so I went for the one with the newest date and the longest warranty. )

They're gonna be on 2 diff pcs, not the same, i'm gonna run a 4k monitor + 2x1080p monitors, only gonna be gaming on one. I hate bezels.

Currently using a 280x, but primarily playing league of legends/darksouls 2, so nothing massively taxing, should be able to run both at a decent framerate.
Will probably upgrade to an 880 when they come out.

Not quite. Innolux and Auo were the first, both Taiwan and expect around 58% of the market in 2014. Other are in production but started later, Samsung, LG, Chinastar and BOE.

Well I'm pretty fucking happy with the 4k monitor.
It's incredible on desktop/browsing/images etc.

Gaming - getting a solid 250fps in league of legends @4k with everything maxxed ( I know lol ).
L4D2 100fps+
Dark Souls 2 solid 50fps+ in combat
Assetto Corsa 100fps+

So yeah, 4k gaming is here, it's fucking incredible, get on this shit guys.

Yeah but you can get gfx cards running faster than that it just doesn't show on the screen. It's all epenis.

yeah. though it amazes me to see how much information is getting sent to the GFX processor in "modern" games. My LFD2 just looks...over-filtered...for want of a better term when I crank it up on my new monitor. 150FPS sure, but all the surroundings are all bland pastel tones with little to stress the GFX ccard. My Skyrim (or Eliteangerous now) has so much detail in objects on screen....its just amazing really. Skyrim is especially jaw-dropping as it's set in an Earrth-like setting, so you recognize mountains and fields and trees and such.

OPO arrived today, it's pretty good so far, havn't had the yellow banding issue some people complained about on forums.

Being able to record in 4k is nice because I have the monitors to show it

I do love recording in 4k. I can record a 4k video in portrait mode and then crop a full hd (1920x1080) landscape section out of it should I so please. And I even get 120px each side for a bit of stabilisation wiggle-room. The level of detail is incredible.

I can record in 4k on my Z2, but the annoying thing is that I can't turn the autofocus off. So on wide shots, it does that annoying "hunting" thing, which ruins the whole shot.

I considered the OnePlusOne and even had an invite but found it does not apparently support o2 4G so going to stay with my HTC One (M7) for now.

I gave my invite to a friend on EE, and got sent a 2nd one few days ago - unfortunately its now expired.
